Bunk beds are too small, rooms are over crowded, people are terribly noisy, the hostel floor is always dirty, guests don't respect the non smoking policy. The breakfast room is right next to front desk and stinks of cigarrette smoke, both places are at the third floor and they look more like a low class club with strange wall painting...

This hostel has the same vibe as salvation army hostel I Mumbai but this one is supposed to be a partyhostel. The rooms are okay and the commonroom is really good, but the kitchen sucks. It is really cheap to sleep here but a beer cost 28 pesos which does it to a expansive place if u want to party...

This was the only hostel we could book when we arrived in Palermo, and we found out why. The staff are lovely and really helpful and I feel for them wotking in such a dump, they have tried to make it better but the place is in a terrible state of disrepair and the owners should be ashamed of what...

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed at, even though it's the only one. The hostel is in a good location, but that's about the only good thing about this place. Once you get inside, it's like you're going back in time or maybe to like a third world country. The bathrooms were dirty, the rooms were small,...

This hostel was awful. 9 dorm beds were crammed in a room that was too small for even 4. The hostel was filthy and felt totally seedy. I think the only people staying there were completely high all day long and that is the only reason the could tolerate it. BA is a beautiful city with far better budget options.

I was bitten by bugs for 3 nights despite swapping beds. Another girl was covered all over her face from one night. The lounge area could be great but was really dirty. There was an untrained dog which wasnt walked, so there was dog poo on the balcony and sometimes nipped guests. The staff were generally unhelpful. Swedish receptionist had...

After all this was a lucky fact, as I would have liked to stay there anyway. - Lazy, unorganied staff - Strange, even a bit hostile atmosphere - many guest dranken at at 10am - Dirty overall...

Disgustingly dirty with rude staff and super noisy until early morning and EVERY night!. It is unbelievable to see the amount of dirt and dust in the hostel. Staff is rude and only cares about getting drunk and spending the day doing nothing on the roof terrace. The only "decent" thing in the hostel are the murales on the walls,...

Although we had booked and payed (!) 3 nights in this hostel well in advance, they had managed to loose our reservation. Arriving at 2 am from the airport and hearing that the staff cannot find the reservation is not a fun thing. For the first 2 nights they luckily still had a room for us, but it hadn't been...

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. I stayed for 9 days, and during this time my bedsheets were changed once - and even that was only because the maid thought I was moving out! I asked the maid to change my sheets more often, and she just shot me an angry look. The bed frames are frail,...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
