Jovial welcome from host Sebastian. The two rooms in the old slaves quarters have real character. Sebastian also cooked us a private asado that was a highlight (although by contrast breakfast was uninspiring). Wonderful to be so close to the Santa Catalina Estancia and it is worth persevering to make contact with Sebastian in order to stay here.

We stayed for one night, and truly enjoyed the peace and 5-star food. The rooms are completely updated and offer lovely touches, like the towels wrapped with ribbon and nice smelling soaps. Definitely not your average hotel/B&B. The food is beyond compare, rivaling the best meals we have had anywhere. Sebastian and Mummi made us feel welcome, and our two...

The Rancheria Santa Catalina was one of the best places we stayed in Argentina. We slept in the former slaves' quarters in a nice garden with little swimming pool. In the evening Sebastian and his friend Daniel prepared an excellent asado with a lot of meat, good wines and a warm atmosphere. All this, next to the magnificent Jesuit monastery...
