Loved this hostel. I would say it's your basic hostel, but clean, with a big breaky and very nice staff and for a fair price. Staff were helpful, warm and welcoming. We found it easy to walk to the bus station and centre of town. Coe&mikhaila

I stayed for 4 nights at the lagares hostel. It is a really nice place with comfortable beds, a nice terrasse, very good breakfast (scramed eggs and homemade jam!), 1500 movies you can choose to watch for free and last but not least the friendliest staff one can imagine. They helped with with some issues and everything worked out perfectly....

We stayed twice at Lagares during our trip, partly because of the amazing Breakfast, partly because of the friendly and helpful staff and partly because of the comfy beds and good showers. Would recommend anytime, though to get to the bar and restaurant mile, it takes some time from here (walking). You can book cool little adventures through them, like...

Fantastic small hostel, very clean, very good showers, air conditioning and amazingly friendly staff. I reserved for 3 nights but extended for 2 nights more because it's really lovely. The breakfast is really good with bread and scrambled eggs as well as homemade baked caked...loved it. The staff helps you whereever needed, has always a smile for you and speaks...

Great little hostel to base yourself in Mendoza. Pro's: Very clean and tidy. You can book tours from there. If you stay 4 nights or more you'll get a free bike tour with Hugo's bikes which is a great day out. WIFI was good. Not too far from the bus station (20-30 min walk). Free breakfast was satisfactory. They have...

Stayed here with a friend for a couple of nights last week. The hostel itself is really good - wifi, good location, air conditioning but the stand out is the staff. They were super friendly and really helpful from start to finish and spoke perfect english. I also left my camera lens in the locker by mistake when I checked...

We really liked our stay in hostal lagares. Great rooms, very nice and friendly staff, especially Javier, great day trips and a tasty breakfast. And everything for a good price. We would definitely come back on our next trip to Mendoza. Thanks again.

I have stayed in very few hostels that make such an effort to keep the place clean and make such an effort for guests. Breakfast is good and fresh (eggs failed to arrive one morning and the call to the supplier was "brisk"). The only niggle was the parking is not secure being on street in front of the hostel...

I had a fab stay at Lagares in Mendoza - Javier and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and happy to assist you with anything, be it a query about the hostel itself or helping you to organise a trip to one of the vineyards. The hostel itself is incredibly clean, lots of natural light and great communal areas,...
