We wanted to have dinner at Mamuna Mountain Lodge, since we had heard firm recommendations about their dishes. Silvina, the hostess, was very kind and warm in the phone. If you want to have lunch or dinner there, you need to make reservations first, as their Andean recipes are cooked by her specially for customers. We regretted we didn't stay...

Very kind owner Sil but remote from town & beds were small for a couple. Bugs were annoying when we tried to sit outside. Very quiet & great views a big plus. Jacuzzi was not working & no wifi a drawback. Moved in town for our second night.

I have never meet such a warm welcoming host in my life! We had been driving our motorbike for 8 hours, and we were exhausted when we arrived. We were meet by a smiling Sil and a scenery you can't even imagine! When we asked Sil if she had any food she suggested that she could make a pizza and...

There are many things I loved about Mamuna. First the amazing landscape behind the posada and the hospitality of the owner. The rooms are big and simple with a small kitchen and bathroom with two hot showers. We went in November, so had no problems with cold weather but they have heathers. At night we were lucky to look on...

My daughter and I stayed here in April. We originally planned to stay three days, but ended up staying longer because we loved thei place so much. The rooms are comfortable and furnished simply but beautifully. They have a small kitchen and good equipment. Each cabin has a small seating area - ours had comfortable deck chairs. The sunset over...

Wonderful location and the owner is charming. But it is very expensive for what you get. A bowl of casuela (vegetable soup) was nine dollars. Bathroom was a little primitive, Outside was wonderful. Quiet with a great view of the milky way.

Just imagine a blanket of stars, a soundtrack of silence and a mountain breeze and you just reach the perfect scenery to have a wonderful night! The room is beautiful with carefully chosen decoration appointments! Sil is the perfect host and will prepare you the meal from the Andes if you want (try the vegetarian one... ;))! Enjoy the jacuzzi...

My husband and I spent three nights, including New Year's Eve, at Mamuna. This place is special! We didn't know exactly what to expect, as there weren't many reviews out there. We chose it based on the website, its funny, new-agey feel, and the extreme friendliness, responsiveness and flexibility of Silvina, the owner. We made the right choice and will...
