the big pro of this hotel is the location: it is the only hotel within the park on the argentinian side. this means that - not only you see the waterfalls from the reception/restaurant etc, but also that you walk outside the building and in 1 minute you are on the lower trail and in 5 you are atthe train...

Wow, our experience was exactly the opposite of Jamie from Chicago. We got upgraded to a suite on the first floor and our adult daughter was in a nearby regular room that was also excellent. Our room was nothing short of spectacular, with a huge private deck with a gorgeous view of the falls, large living room and separate bedroom,...

just stayed two nights at this awful, overly expensive hotel. They have the location going for them, but at 500.00 dollars per night clearly they could afford to keep up the rooms, Small, smelly, dirty, nothing good to say about them. Came from the Four Seasons in Uruguay and for 100 dollars more you get this gorgeous property. Sheraton should...

The hotel's location is great, it allows you to visit part of the Argentinian side in the morning, come back to the hotel for some rest, and go back in the afternoon, which given the temperatures etc. is very nice. The hotel is in good state, service is generally good, the food tasty and the breakfast pretty good as well....

This hotel is located on one of the most spectacular pieces of property on earth. The view of the falls is nothing short of astonishing...however...the rooms are really awful, the staff not very knowledgeable or friendly and the food is so-so. Get out to The Falls and spend as much time there as you can. The pool area is just...

The view from our room of Iguazu Falls was amazing. Not a great hotel value but clean and great for the tropics. The tile floors are really nice. Only complaint was that the air con trailed off in the middle of the night. Book ahead and get the great room with falls view. Food at hotel is OK and convenient...

Would echo mostly what's been said previously I.e fantastic location and the hotel itself is fine. Sure it's not luxurious or totally up to date decor wise but on the other hand it's clean and comfortable with good sized rooms, Ok food and decent service. We left at 7-50 to go to the devils throat although then found out the...

We had plans to stay on the Brazilian side and never realized that we needed visas to get into Brazil. We showed up at the Sheraton's door step without reservations and explained our problem. They were very accommodating including helping us with the consulate. It took 2 full days to get Visas but that's a different issue. The Sheraton had...

After seeing some of the reviews here I was quite nervous, but Hotel das Cataratas was full and this was the next best option. The hotel location is perfect- just inside the Argentina side of the park and it is in good condition, despite what the other reviews say. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, for example arranging a...

As all the reviews say, this hotel is expensive. And it can afford to charge so much per night, simply because people like me are prepared to pay for the location. The hotel and its room rooms are pleasant enough - I'm clearly not as particular as other reviewers, as I thought the rooms were fine and the food was...
