We travelled in Argentina for app. 3 weeks, and the Jardin de Iguazu was our biggest disappointment. We had read the positive reviews and were excited to check into the hotel. We had made the reservation 3 months before our trip. However, the staff quickly informed us that we did not have a reservation and that there was no vacancy....

We spent two nights in this very good hotel, located in the center of Port Iguazu. The location is perfect: the swimming pool area is unique and the room is big and spacious. We strongly suggest this location.

Outstanding hotel in Puerto Iguazu. For $90US/nt you get a beautifully maintained hotel, with pool, air con, king bed and breakfast. Centrally located in town but very quiet. Staff great (but a bit of Spanish would help). Tip - I found the standard pillows awful - check before you try to sleep on them! Can't recommend it highly enough!

What a winner. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by our host Don Roberto, we thoroughly enjoyed this intimate oasis in Iguaza. Very modern, clean and friendly. The staff could not do enough for us, right down to the complimentary glass of caiparina when we returned home from dinner. We would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers

We had a long day getting to Iguazu so it was wonderful to be greeted by Jamila at the front desk with two caipirinhas at check in. Since it was late, we quickly grabbed fixings for sandwhiches at the Dagu market and it was nice to be able to use the Jardin's kitchen area to prepare our quick meal. There...

This is a relatively small and brand new hotel which is decorated very nicely in a contemporary style. The pool area is lovely, the breakfast included in the cost of the room is ample, and the location is great - 2 blocks from the bus station on one side and the center of town on the other. So if you're...

I wen t to Puerto Iguazu for the first time on October 2010. Since the plan was to stay there during the long weekend (8-12 October) it was difficult to find available rooms (even when we started contacting hotels 2 months early). Jardin de Iguazu Hotel was a great finding. With only 8 month in the business this hotel certainly...

We enjoyed our two night stay in this rustic setting. The rooms were small, but clean and contained good storage space. The hotel is 2 stories and the rooms face a courtyard which was lovely. We liked the small waterfall which was quite soothing to listen to and watch. The hotel had a Southwestern motif which we really liked. The...

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful although I don't think they spoke much English. Some of my friends were Spanish speakers so we had no problems. The manager even made us complimentary caipirinhas and kissed us all goodbye when we left. The rooms were excellent: spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is quite new as well so everything was...

I stayed here for two nights with my family (2 adults in their 50s and two teenagers) and Jardin del Iguazu has a lot of potential. However, we had some serious problems with their service. First of all, the receptionists only speak Spanish, but that was fine for us since I am fluent in Spanish. At registration, the receptionist made...
