We really enjoyed our stay at Toucan Lodge. Its true that when we first got there from the airport down a fairly rutted dirt road we were wondering what the heck we'd gotten ourselves into. However, once we were finally able to get in (we couldn't figure out how to open the gate- bit of "school for the gifted" there)...

We stayed at Toucan lodge end of Jan/ early Feb. It's true that it is not located in the city center and it's hard to fine due to the lack of any road signs but... Once you arrived you'll find yourself in an oasis of green. Spacious cabins, lovely BIG and clean pool. Silence at night. You can't find any...

Very relaxing place, lots of space both in the lodges and the grounds. Highlight was that there were no mozzies - we'd feared the worst! Very helpful host. Nice pool, very clean. Shame we were out fallgazing most of the time. A bit of a trip into time but the bus ride with the locals is a travellers must. Another...

Charming and spacious cabins set in a beautiful tropical garden with a large pool. The bus stop for the Falls (Argentinian side), was around an eight minute walk. The town centre was around 30 minutes away but, having walked it a few times, would recommend taxi or bus. The owner, Danny, has created a tranquil oasis in Puerto Iguazu. We...

Toucan Lodge was a gem of a location on the outskirts of Puerto Iguazu. Danny the owner was hugely helpful even before we'd even arrived. Although the lodges are located on the outskirts of Puerto Iguazu the town is easily accessible via a cheap bus and buses to Iguazu Falls stop only 300m away. Our accommodation was immaculately clean, spacious...

We stayed here for two nights whilst exploring Iguazu Falls, and loved it. The lodge is really quiet and each cabana is really spacious and homely in its decoration. The eating space and breakfast served to your door each morning is also really nice after weeks of staying in hotels! What stood out for us most was how accommodating Danny,...

We stayed 2 nights at the end of our trip to Argentina and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Toucan Lodge. You can get here easily by taxi from the town (30-40 pesos) or from the local airport (140 pesos). There is also a local bus from the town (3 pesos) which stops a mere 300 metres from Toucan Lodge....

Good value for money and clean accomodation. Owner was English which made life much easier for us and could give advice re the falls. lodges were spacious and in a lovely setting. Short bus ride into the town and taxi to falls was not expensive. However if I went again would choose a place in town for convenience. Had to...

this awesome lodge is perfect for a family vacation. Not recommended for lonely traveller because expensive and too confortable, maybe useless. i mean, it was great staying there but i wouldn't choose it again if travelling alone. I would definetely choose it with some friends looking for relax. total relax. Anyway, the owner, Toni, is brilliant, kind and very helpful....

The Toucan Lodge is a good choice for anyone planning on spending a few days near Iguacu Falls. We chose it because there was more of what we wanted to see on the Argentine side of the falls. Arrival was by way of the airport at Foz do Iguacu, Brazil. It is a small modern airport. There is good service...
