It is typical of hotels located near natural wonders to present themselves as much more than they really are, overcharge guests and do not show any care of any kind, for there would always be guests anyway - this can be verified here at this EXE branch! Location is simply prime, on the highway between the Falls on the Argentinean...

We've stayed at the hotel cataratas several times on trips to visit the Iguazu Falls. The hotel is about what you'd expect in the jungle. It's pretty nice and the rooms and beds are comfortable. The wifi works great in the lobby areas and it's spotty in the rooms but that's ok as we're here to see the falls not...

The room was nice and clean. But you could here every noise from the floor. People at the reception couldn't speak english except from Gustavo which has spoken english fluently and was very helpful. Unfortunately he was the only english speaking person I meet in the hotel. Most of the time the free wifi wasn't working and was very slow....

A hotel which was supposed to be 5 stars are not more than :. Wi-fi was terrible and the room very dirty. The food was horrible and the reception staff very unfriendly (especially the woman in the reception). The pool were dirty and ther is a lot of pool from animals on the grass in the surroundings. The hotel in general was quite nice. Sadly the WiFi quality was absolutely horrendous, sometimes WhatsApp messages could take several minutes to be sent and watching a video, even in very low quality, was completely out of the question. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you like having a decent internet connection.

A few things. Ultimately, this is a perfectly fine place to stay. Rooms are clean, service is good, very well located. However, the dinner buffet is robbery - the buffet's price isn't indicated anywhere, but it's twice as expensive as ordering off the menu, and not as good. The chicken milanesa is quite good. Excellent service. The internet is awful....

Iguazu Falls was very high on our list , especially from Argentina side. So we chose to be in Puerto Iguazu . Cataratas claims to be five star which it might have been years ago . Today its not more than three stars. Not surprisingly , its tariff is in keeping with its present status !. Its located on the...

We spent a few days here when visiting the falls. The hotel was lovely. I saw people said it was dated but it's just old, classic and beautiful. The staff were friendly and always very helpful making it a wonderful place to spend a few relaxing days as well as using it as a base for exploring. After a hot...

The hotel is good for a short stay, the SPA and pools are pleasant and a great area to sun exposure. The restaurant is really great but the breakfast is not so good. The structure is way too old, need a reform imediately.. the worst point is the bathrooms of the rooms - mine the shower didnt work, i had...

Pretty much what we expected. I found everything ok. Considering the location in the middle of a rain forrest, it was a nice place to return to after visiting the famous falls. The hotel is a little old, but it is maintained pretty good. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant was above average with a nice selection (buffet style)...
