My wife & I had a wonderful time in Iguazu and found John Fernandes to be an excellent host. He ensured we were looked after from the time we arrived at the airport to the time we left at the airport. The evenings were special with a pleasant drink and delightful nibbles where we would share our experiences of the...

This small B & B is a delight.............3 cabin type rooms set in a beautiful garden. John the owner is on hand to offer advice and guidance, and even drove us around the town when we arrived to show us where everything is. The B&B is about 20 minutes walk into town, and the bus to get to the Falls...

We stayed here only one night last week for our trip to see the Iguazu Falls. The Secret Garden is perfectly delightful. We were so pleased to find our beautiful room, hidden nicely behind beautiful foliage, with hummingbirds all around. The owner, John, makes your stay so pleasant. He really makes this place stand out and our only regret was...

I stayed at the Secret Garden for only one night - totally my fault for leaving this so late - and wished I could have stayed for longer. I emailed John three nights before my arrival and, by chance, he had a spare room (there are only three, so if you really want to stay here, it's best to plan...

iguazu was our first stop on a several week journey through south america and remains one of our fondest memories, largely due to the wonderfully hospitable john fernandez and his small staff at the secret garden. we had heard that staying at the sheraton was the way to go when visiting iguazu. the sheraton has a magnificent view and a...

Our recent stay at the Secret Garden B&B was better than we imagined even after reading all of the postive reviews. The hosts - John and his terrier Roxy, were warm and friendly and made us feel welcomed at their home. Breakfast each morning was outstanding. John's advice on the falls, the town, dining and taxi arrangements were right on...

I traveled to Iguazu with a friend, and we really enjoyed the scenery/relaxing atmosphere at the Secret Garden B&B. It is located in a fairly central area of town, which is ~15 minutes away from the Iguazu National Park. John, the host, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and arranged for a shuttle driver to...

This guest house was selected for its size and price, and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were well appointed with air conditioning and the garden area was beautiful. The breakfasts were substantial and the host, John Fernandez, who has Indian roots, is quite the gentleman and raconteur. He is quite knowledgeable about the area and Argentina as a whole....

We chose this B&B due to it's great reviews. We just had to see for ourselves what all the fuss is about. Although we had a nice stay there we would not give it a perfect rating due to several issues. Our room was not in a very "clean" state upon our arrival. There were spiders on ceiling, bugs and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An ideal place to jump-start your visit to the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. High on concept the Secret Garden is populated by tree ferns and other shade-loving plants salvaged from the slash and burn rural and logging activities decimating the surrounding rain-forest. Our location allows you to get a feel of living in a small South American frontier town and has easy access to urban amenities. ... more   less
