We stayed twice - once on our arrival night into the Salta area and on the night before our departure. Both times we stayed in the Wichi room. It is large and spacious although a little dark as the colour scheme is now darker than the hotel website depicts. I would describe the style as slightly rustic but not unappealing.... More

Attentive and warm reception from bellmen. Carolina who may be the manager invited us to lovely soft seating area to register and served us glasses of delicious regional Torrontes wine. Room was palatial with real antiques Persian rugs and 15' ceilings. Hvac unit blows cold air onto bed so we did not sleep well until we shut that off. A... More

Reception very helpful indeed. Breakfast a little limited but perfectly adequate. Early breakfast laid out for us when requested. Interesting small hotel. Nice communal areas including courtyard. Good location.

We stayed here twice. Once before our trip up north and once later after we fled the terrible House of Jasmines Hotel. The hotel is situated centrally in Salta. The rooms are very large and comfortable with interesting decor. However above all I found all the staff to be very helpful. Their tips for where to go and what to... More

A good base walking distance from the centre of Salta. We spent two nights there and saw most of the sights in the day before meeting up with our guide. From here you can walk to them and to the main restaurant areas. The room (El Gaucho) was very large, clean and had an (inner courtyard) balcony with comfortable reclining... More

We recently stayed in Legado while visiting the Salinas Grandes, Purmamarca and Humahuaca, all in the greater Salta region. It lived up to its website and the positive reviews, from the moment we entered the narrow hallway that leads to reception. The road on which the hotel is located is somewhat nondescript but, once inside, Legado is an oasis of... More

We stayed at Legado Mitico in Salta for a total of 4 nights in august 2013, at their superior rooms. I cannot think of anything that was not outstanding. It is a quintessential boutique hotel , private elegant in a early 20th century style. Scrupulously clean. Extremely functional. Very well decorated , as it is owned by architects. The breakfast... We visited Salta whilst on Honeymoon and stayed a couple of nights at the Legado Mitico. It is a charmingly restored old townhouse with a relaxing library, extremely good service and high quality accommodation (we had one of the best rooms with its own outdoor terrace overlooking the courtyard - well positioned for plenty of afternoon sunshine). Where the hotel... More

Legado mitico is an ancient home converted into a boutique hotel. It belonged to the same family in Salta until the late 1980s. It is organized around a large courtyard, with trees and comfortable armchairs, where you can sip a glass of wine in the evening before going out to the "penas" in the neighborhood. All rooms are quite large... More
