I've been in Loki Cuzco and Loki la Paz before I arrived here, expecting my shirt as they say, but sadly they ran out of shirts(for men) 😞 beside that everting was perfect as every Loki that I have been. 👌🏻

I'm not one for negative reviews but I had a very disappointing stay at Loki. Firstly, information given on its location on the website was not accurate, it cost 300 pesos from the town not 150 pesos in a taxi (that's two nights stay at a hostel) and was a 40 minute drive out of Salta. Getting the bus back...

That was my first thought as I walked into Loki. It looks more like a resort with hammocks and swimming pool and mountains in the surroundings. Undoubtedly, its the best place I have ever been to. Was thinking of spending 2 nights and ended up staying longer. Food is really inexpensive and is delicious. The have the best team of...

Me and my brother really enjoyed our time in Loki Salta. The staff was really friendly and helped out with every problem I had! During the day there's space to practice a lot of sports or just hang out and at night there's either way a party or just a night to relax. The rooms are clean and the food...

I planned to stay there for 2 nights, but Loki is one of those 'black hole' hostels, where you can't refuse to stay longer, if you have the time that is. I made lots of friends over there, some I met again in Buenos Aires, Iguazu and Rio de Janeiro. If I ever go back to Salta, I will definitely...

It was a pleasure to stay at Loki, it was the first hostel where I could genuinely relax. The location was not an issue at all in terms of transport to and from the city. The atmosphere and setting was amazing with a great team of staff.

Very good, excellent stay. The rooms are nice and big. There is a nice blue swimming pool and the staff is very nice and helpful. Would recommend it to everyone who likes a relaxing night place to stay outside of the city. The showers are good and the beds are very nice to!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Loki has landed in Argentina and we are proud to present our beautiful new backpackers sanctuary in the heart of the countryside. Salta is a key gateway point for travels between Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Brazil and therefore the ideal location to stop off, kick back and re-charge before the journey ahead. Our brand new Loki is situated 20 mins outside of Salta city, in a small 'pueblo' of little over 1,000 residents whose origins are synonymous with the lifestyle of the gaucho and tobacco grower. With panoramic views of the surrounding Andes mountains, a highland subtropical climate, and all the fresh air, sounds and smells of rural Argentina, you can choose to do as little or as much as you like. Our brand new hostel in Salta is the new addition to the Loki family. Our services within the hostel include, bar, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court, ping pong and pool table, all you can eat BBQs twice weekly, nightly dinners and entertainment. ... more   less
