I was looking for a hotel for a 3 night stay, that would allow me to go walking to the ski center up in Cerro Catedral. Hotel Galileo ended up being a very suitable place, where everything is well organized and austere. You don't need more than that, a nicely set up with very friendly service. Breakfast in very good...

We spent a few nights at Christmas at Galileo, and absolutely loved everything about this place! It is in a perfect location, away from the busy Bariloche, set under beautiful mountains in Cerro Cathedral. The tiny ski town was awesome in the off season. A great hike to refugio Frey starts right around the corner from the hotel. The rooms...

This hotel is the perfect option for those who want to be close to the mountain (5 minutes walk). It has everything that is needed: service is perfect, rooms are spacious, with nice living room and kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed one week in Villa Catedral and was great. We were a group of 12 kids and adults. Last day of the week because of a snow storm we have a power cut in the whole Villa Catedral. We went to ask Galileo hotel for prices and bedrooms because they did have a power genny. We saw the bedroom...

Dear Sir. Since you wrote your review twice. I hereby explain my future guest that we did not misstreat you, but explained that Studio Rooms are just for two guests, not for 12 guest to shower. The place is OK. Not bad. Nice decoration in room but the huge problem comes with the service and you are supposed to come to a Hotel on vacations to relax and enjoy not to be treated without respect and trust. I think my story is worth sharing for all travelers. I travel a lot and never experienced this in...

Thank you for your creative review! Since we were the only hotel at the Ski resort area with a generator we were full buy one double room and we could not fit 12 guests in it. We did actually offer coffee and restaurant services to many of your neighbours though. I am sorry the hotel you stayed at did not...

We stayed 6 nights in early September. The skiing wasn't great but the Galileo was. After a day's skiing, or walking in the rain and snow, the under floor heating was very welcome. Breakfasts delivered to the room were good quality and there was no problem changing the order. Dinner was a highlight, good food simply cooked with wine from...

My son and I spent four nights here in August 2013. I cannot say enough great things about this little gem! The staff were beyond belief in terms of how patient and helpful they were - suggestions for where to eat, what to do, how to make the most of our time. And the hotel itself was cozy (and not...

My wife and I stayed here late June for five nights. The floors in their rooms are heated, and the spa was nice. Fittings inside are new and modern looking and the room was clean. I did have to ask for the floor heating to be turned up (which they were happy to do) as when we used the fireplace...

very good choice if you are going with kids and their are willing to be close to the snow. it would be a bad choice staying at downtown instead of stay some steps from the ski lifts. the hotel is very nice with floor heating, water heating, a bath tub for 2. kind personnel and good food. it is also...

A really nice place in Catedral - so, close to the mountains for skiing and easy access to town, but far enough away to not be caught in the bustle of the ski resort. Awesome big apartment with all the required facilities.

Thank you for your sincere words. The hotel is located very close to the ski slopes and the first ski lift. We have however a 4-wheel drive to drive our guests early in the morning to the resort and back in the afternoon, when tired after a great ski day! We would love to see you again next year. Don´t...
