Located 24 km from center of Bariloche and very close to Llao Llao Hotel. Good things: good value, wonderful helpful couple run this B and B., child friendly, ample breakfast (not gormet), nice grounds and garden. Great hiking close by. Not so good: small rooms and bathrooms, barking dogs at night, thin walls, near road. Great stay and would love...

Hosteria Katy is absolutely perfect, everything about it. If you are thinking about visiting Bariloche, but don't want to stay in the center where all the tourist traps and expensive shops are, get away and stay in a beautiful escape located in Llao Llao about 25 kilometers away. The bus goes straight to and from the center and other places...

Staying here feels a bit like you're visiting your favorite grandparents... Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. The grounds are lovely, with lots of rosebushes. The attention to guests is friendly, dedicated and sincere. The breakfast is not overly generous, but prepared very thoughtfully and with several local ingredients. The location is ideal is you want a quiet stay; it's about...

We walked to Hosteria Katy after taking the ferry into Llao Llao after three days hiking below Mt. Tronador. It was perfect and I only wish we had known about it earlier. Dirk & Adi were incredibly helpful with recommendations and logistics. Dirk is a travel guide in the area so he was particularly helpful in directing our trip to...

Dirk and Adriana (Adi) are the second generation now running this charming B&B. They are the most gracious hosts you can ever hope for. Dirk is a travel guide, so they are knowledgeable about sights and activities and eager to share what they know with their guests. Via emails before we arrived, Adi made many recommendations and even made some...

Hosteria Katy is a wonderfull family operated small hotel in Llao Lllao. The room was very nice and cozy with private bath and a view of the beautiful garden. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. Also the breakfast buffet was great. I highly recommend this place!

My mother and I stayed at Hosteria Katy for four nights and it was possibly the most accommodating stay I have ever experienced. To begin with, the service was incredible. The owners, Adriana and Derek (sp?) were happy to answer any questions and provide any help with arranging tours in the area. They were so helpful that they even allowed...

My husband and our two young children descended upon this delightful inn just before Christmas. We spent two weeks in Argentina, but all of us agreed that Hosteria Katy was our favorite accommodation! Adriana and her family were warm and welcoming--the minute we walked in the door she identified me by name and gave me a kiss on the cheek--my...

We went to Bariloche in July and stayed at hostería Katy because we wanted to do snowboard. We drove from Chile ( puerto Montt ) to Bariloche. The hostel is nice. Rooms are once and clean. But the best part is the service, You feel like home and they treat You as if You were part of their family. I...
