A friend and I recently stayed at the Estancia on our trek through Patagonia and it was one of the highlights of our trip. After a bumpy 1.5 hour ride, you arrive at the estancia, which is positioned on a piece of sprawling beautiful land at the base of the Cervantes glacier. When you arrive, you immediately feel welcome with... More

The food was good but they are very skimpy. Only 1 bottle of water or glass of wine. Second is charged at $3.00 for a small bottle of water and $6.00 for a cheap glass of wine. It's a full day in the Estancia you would assume for what they charge water would be provided. The sheep demonstration was fun... More

Dear visitor, Thank you for your review. It is always good to know our guests experience. We appologize if the meals did not reach your expectations. It is a tradition in Argentina to serve "asado" with diferent salads. In Nibepo Aike most of the salads ingredients are from our organic garden. We are a cattle ranch, beside a tourist ranch.... There are the views, which are absolutely breathtaking. There are the excursions, that are absolutely amazing. There are the walks into the mountains and by the lake, that are absolutely relaxing. There is the food, which is absolutely delicious. There are the daily horse rides, that are absolutely wonderful. And there is the estancia, which provides an at-home comfort which... More

We stayed there 2 nights during our trip to Patagonia, but all of us wanted to have stayed longer. The people are very friendly and the food very good. Once day we had "asado" and the lamb was even better than in the good restaurant in Buenos Aires! The rooms are huge and the ambiente is very nice - with... More

We stayed at this traditional Patagonian Estancia in January and had a wonderful experience! Our room was huge; located at the end of the hallway had tall beautiful windows with views to the garden and mountains. All meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included; food is simple, delicious and home made with care. The chef prepared a different dish each day... More

The setting can't be beat - stunning vistas at any time of the day! So - it's really all about the location because there are no other hotel / motel / ranch options in the area… unless you want to really rough it and go camping. Check-in: "You want us to show you to your room?" um, yes please -... More

We spent only one night there, and I wish we spent at least 2 or many more. The location is beautiful, peaceful, very comfortable and the staff is super helpful. The Perito Moreno glaciar is a big hour away by car. We had a great asado dinner cooked in their grincho restaurant, the horse ride was lovely too. I wish... More

This is a working ranch, so you can watch the cattle and sheep, including a sheep-shearing demonstration. Horseback riding is offered of varying lengths from one hour to days. You can also just relax and enjoy the riverside location with a good book. Just when you think it can't get any better--you sit down to a meal. The food is... More

We spent one night at the Estancia, which included our room with king bed and ensuite bath, and dinner, breakfast and lunch. As this is a sheep ranch that raises sheep to sell as lamb, a good parrilla of lamb is the main course for dinner. It can indeed be very good, but on occasion the division of the cuts... More
