Overall it was a pleasant stay, the staff was friendly enough, the dorm room was comfortable and spacious, didn't feel all cramped, and the bathroom was clean and big as well. Breakfast was good. The kitchen doesn't have much utensils, pots, pans, etc.. for cooking or preparing dinner, that was in my opinion the main thing wrong with this hostel....

Avoid this place if possible. Staff is friendly but as soon as you have a problem they become nasty, unprofessional, and rude (seems like a common practice from other posters). Breakfast is terrible unless you enjoy stale bread and dry sponge cake. WiFi is only available at the common area where you're not allowed to be at night.

Clean dorm rooms with their own bathroom and the staff were very friendly and helpful staff. Yes floorboards are loud but if you are staying in a hostel you should have earplugs! Breakfast is naff but that is the same throughout Argentina! I'd advise not booking tours through the hostel and shopping around. We got a great deal with Always...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bright open common area with a great kitchen which can be used by guests. Great location also. Shared bathroom but was never a wait for facilities. Our room was very basic for the price that we paid. One bed was not very comfortable at all. Breakfast is a choice of bread and jam, toasted if...

The only positive thing I can say about this hostel is that it's alittle far from the center, and it's good if you're looking for a quiet place. The bad things about this hostel are so many it's hard to list. First, the staff is just horrible!!! They are rude, impatient, very hard with their rules and far from being...

Came here with 2 friends for 2 nights and left very satisfied. The stuff is very kind, the rooms are cleaned and held in a high standard. Definitely advise all of you who are looking for a low price hostel to come here. The only disadvantage I can think about is that it's a bit far from the major street...

Basic hostel quite close to downtown. Very poor breakfast. Squeaky floors. Private rooms are small without any basic amenities whilst the walls are just wood planks. Ask for a room in the back since it can get noisy if people are chatting downstairs.

We stayed 1 night in this hostel during the festival week. Therefore I think they raised the price and it turned out to be the most expensive hostel during our stay in Argentina with the least value for the money. The bed we slept in was terrible, and the place was noisy. The lady who attended us, told us we...

When we went to El Calafate there was a local holiday and a festival and because of that 99% of the places was fully booked. This hostel was the only reasonably priced option. We were afraid because of all the bad reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised! I don't know were all the no-kitchen-reviews come from, but THERE IS A...

The major disadvantage of this hostel is its poor kitchen. There are hardly any plates there, only a couple of broken cups, hardly any cutlery... When I asked the stuff about a teaspoon, I was told that all spoons have been stolen. Between 7 and 10 am they serve breakfast and you are not allowed to use the kitchen during...
