That place is just incredible. The owners are an Argentinean couple. They did host us very warmhearted and friendly. The cabins are furnished pretty sweet and comfy. The breakfast is typical for hostels, toasted bred, sweet bred, jam and butter, joghurt, apples, coffee and tea. Price for a night in a cabin including breakfast is a very good deal. Their...

We stayed in the garden room since the cabins were being worked on. Ownership has been transferred back to the original family and they were beyond generous and attentive to all of our needs and are working very hard to restore this guest house to its best version of itself. The cabins are a 10 minute walk from the bus...

Ideal location in El Calafate, just 5 minutes walk from the bus station and close to the town centre, but quiet at night. Lots of work is being done to renovate Las Cabinitas, and it looks beautiful so far with handmade woodwork and colourful/tasteful fabrics and colours. It is a family run business and the owners could not be more...

We stayed in one of the cabins and also in one of the rooms in the main lodge. The cabins are adorable and you get to sleep in the loft area of the a-frame. Good sleep. Downstairs in fine, but a little dark and the bathroom was "rustic". All you really need is a good bed, which this place has...

There very nice people in the hostel, The are helpfull and have good tips what to do in the environment. The hostel is close to the centrum of the village and but is nice and quiet, they have a nice garden that smelled perfect with all lavendel.

Another traveller recommended this place for me. My friend and I had a great time. I won't call it a hostel but a guesthouse. Eduardo and his family will look after you very well. The place is very clean and tidy. Eduardo doesn't speak much english but his son does. You can book excursions through them but only in cash...

Las Cabanitas was a lovely, small place to stay. The owner, Geraldo was very friendly and organised evening events for his guests, we had a barbeque with him one evening and it was so delicious. He also made homemade bread for breakfast which was a nice touch. We stayed in one of the cabins and what a place!! Really cute...

The city of El Calafate is expensive, taking that into account Las Cabanitas is fairly priced for what it offers. You can walk from the bus terminal to Las Cabanitas easily. It is a family-run hostel with everything a backpacker needs: comfortable beds, hot shower, nice breakfast and a very welcoming owner. Gerardo is the man in terms of info...

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time! Keep in mind that the cabins are very small and simple, no luxurious stay here. We found them perfect, but they may not be liked by all. The bed is in the upstairs loft which you get to by a ladder and the ground level has a table, single...
