Las Cabanitas was a lovely, small place to stay. The owner, Geraldo was very friendly and organised evening events for his guests, we had a barbeque with him one evening and it was so delicious. He also made homemade bread for breakfast which was a nice touch. We stayed in one of the cabins and what a place!! Really cute...

The city of El Calafate is expensive, taking that into account Las Cabanitas is fairly priced for what it offers. You can walk from the bus terminal to Las Cabanitas easily. It is a family-run hostel with everything a backpacker needs: comfortable beds, hot shower, nice breakfast and a very welcoming owner. Gerardo is the man in terms of info...

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time! Keep in mind that the cabins are very small and simple, no luxurious stay here. We found them perfect, but they may not be liked by all. The bed is in the upstairs loft which you get to by a ladder and the ground level has a table, single...

My wife and I loved the private cabin with lavender in the garden, which also had nice picnic areas. Gerardo and his family are very warm and charming hosts. He was very responsive by email prior to our visit and set up a Perito Morino tour for us. The cabins are quiet and are very conveniently located close to downtown...

I simply love the lavenders around the tiny gardens whenever we walk pass to our cabin, they are so lovely and so matching towards to cabin haha! When we walk in, the room was pretty small but cosy. We loved our stay at Las Cabanitas. It's walking distance from the bus station, even closer to the pick-up/drop-off point for the Ice museum, and is set on a lovely property with lush gardens. We stayed in the main building and found our room and shared bath to be clean and quiet. The owners went out of their way to...

We stayed a total of 3 nights here. Good location within walking distance of the Bus Station. And not far from the main street. The family running the place are very relaxed and helpful. The cabins are basic but clean and have lots of places to put your stuff as well as a small table for writing/computer etc. The A...
