I have recently spent 10 days in Patagonia and have covered all major destinations in Chile, Peru and Argentina. Among all places I have stayed, Casa Azul has provided me with the best experience and quality. It is a real hidden jewel - so clean, such a great view to Lago Argentino, so peaceful, such a hearty breakfast and above...

After a very warm welcome from the lovely hosts, Margarita and Angel, we were shown the immaculately clean upstairs room overlooking Lago Argentino. There was no double bed but 2 bunk beds instead. The room with its en suite bathroom is small and compact but has a spacious balcony with big views - don't miss the magnificent view of the...

This is off the beaten path and out of town by about a mile, maybe a little less. They have bikes you can take to town which we did. The owner even came out to put more air in the tires for us before we rode off. Great view to the lake and side view to the mountains from the...

I cannot recommend this house enough if you are going to stay in El Calafate. Margarita and the view of the lake completely lived up to the hype of the other reviews on Trip Advisor. It really made our stay in Calafate very special. Margarita is incredibly friendly and lovely and always there if you are in need of anything,...

My fiancé and I stayed at Casa Azul for two nights January 2014 during our two week trip to Argentina. Everything you are reading about Margarita and her wonderful hospitality is absolutely true. She was our favorite person we met on our entire two-week adventure. First, I will describe the house. Margarita and her family live on the first floor...

We just spent 5 amazing days at this very clean and welcoming home. The host Margarita and her family went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable experience in Patagonia. They offered complimentary bike service, cleaned our room every day ( fresh towels daily too) provided a home made breakfast each day and invited us...

I am quite an informed and well prepared traveler. I'm not into surprises when it comes to accommodation and transport. But this place did surprise, big time! it's an unique experience that i warmly recommend. I am not a sentimental person, but this place does grow on you. This place is so much more than a room with a wonderful...

The view from room and private balcony is marvellous from this well run B+ b in a family home. Margarita is an excellent hostess - warm, efficient and welcoming in every way - and has furnished the rooms to a good standard. I would certainly return if in El Calafate again.

Our stay with Margarita and her family was the best choice we made while visiting El Calafate. Both rooms at Casa Azul have a superb view of the lake and an ample-sized balcony to enjoy it from too. The room and adjoining bathroom we had were impeccably clean, not a spot of dust in sight! She welcomes you offering hot...

We had a great time staying at Casa Azul and only wish we had been able to stay there longer. Margarita was the ideal host: friendly, warm, and helpful. She made us breakfast even when we were getting up early, she cleaned our room daily, she helped us figure out our travel arrangements, and she even lent us jackets. So...
