We stayed at Albergue Buenos Aires for three nights in a private twin room which came to around £140 in total, easily the most expensive accommodation we stayed in during our South American journey and by no means the most luxurious. It was, however, the cheapest private room available in the town that we could find with similar places coming...

The landlord is a really nice and friendly guy. The hostel is a few minutes walk from the city centre and the bus station. The rooms are a bit old, but ok beds. The breakfast includes coffee/tea and white bread with jam. The lady who cleans uses the same dishcloth for the bin as for drying the breakfast plates, which...

Spent only one night here after heading back from Chalten and was flying to Ushuaia the following morning however this hostel seemed great. The owner was really friendly and we got into a discussion because he had lived in Spain and I had gone there for a holiday a number of years ago. The dorm rooms are nice with big...

I had a wonderful stay here, it's everything you're looking for - friendly host, great location (2 blocks from the terminal) very clean, spacious rooms (I stayed in the 8 bed dorm), 2 immaculate kitchens, hot showers and a nice communal room to relax. Great atmosphere and great value for money, really felt like home. Look no further!

we came into town very late, and found a very affordable night in a double room. the walls are thin but the room was clean - so was the bathroom and showers (2 complete bathrooms / 6 rooms), very satisfied! using the kitchen was no problem and the NEW SPANISH HOST (overtaking the place in April 2015) is very friendly,...

Not used a hostel since I was a teenager so didn't know what to expect. I had a 2 bed room for 1 person and good free wifi. The room was clean and neat, likewise the shared bathrooms, and kitchen facilities (though I didn't take the hosteling experience as far as making my own food!) The owner Facundo could not...

We stayed at Hostel Buenos Aires twice on this trip. The owner, Facundo, stays on the premises. He bought this property last April and keeps improving the quality of the hostel. It is the only hostel we stayed at that has TV with the CNN English channel. He has a large, fast computer in the lobby for guests to use....

We stayed here for tree nights and a had a good stay. The hostel is fairly basic but is clean and internet works reasonably. The owner is friendly, speaks English, and was very helpful with booking soms trips for us. There are also two well-equipped kitchens that can be used. One major downside was the breakfast, which was basically two...

Hostel Buenos Aires is nice, cheap, clean and it is located near the bus station. We are traveling for one year and we would like to find more places like this. Plus, the new owner (since one month) is really nice and helped us as much as he could. Very good service for the price
