La Casa is a small, quaint B&B. Owner Sylvia is friendly, helpful with good information for tourists. La Casa rooms are basic with shared bath but comfortable and spotlessly clean with daily service. Everything in Ushuaia is uphill or down; La Casa is centrally located but be prepared for hill walking. I loved Ushuaia, hope to visit again and will...

Small little B&B run by a sweet lady named Sylvia. It's pretty spotless, very quiet, great views and a short walk from the main road. Most of the rooms I think share a bathroom. You'll find a great mix of people staying here from all over the world. Sylvia can help point you in the direction of whatever you might...

This is a small, peaceful B&B just one block up from the main street running through town. Nice views of the mountains and the bay from the rooms. Most all the rooms have shared baths. You will find a mix of world travelers here. Most going to or coming from Antarctica via cruise ships. A pleasant basic breakfast is served....

Sylvia the owner is very nice. Not a place to go if you have a lot of luggage and can't handle tight stairs. Getting luggage down to basement rooms is tricky. Shared bathrooms in most if not all rooms. A good value at roughly $50-60 US if that is what you want and the location is good. Just be aware...

I found La Casa Del Silvia via trip advisor and thought to give it a try based on the reviews. The lady that runs the place is very sweet, but the accommodations were just average, and over priced. My friends staying at Freestyler hostel were paying $80 pesos a night and I'm stuck here paying $$$ The room was spacious,...

I enjoyed my stay at La Casa. Silvia was a wonderful host and made me feel at home among all of the french-speaking guests ;) The room was very basic but very clean, very quiet, and the view of the Beagle Channel was lovely! The shared bathroom was large and sauna-like, with all hardwood walls. I hope I'll get a...

I stayed at la casa twice, before and after a visit to Antarctica, with my husband. We also stayed at two other accommodations in Ushuaia and this was by far the best. The bedrooms are sparse but very very clean, as is the whole house which is lovely and light. There was a good black out blind on the window...

I stayed one night in La Casa, a room with shared bath room, and I loved the place. the house was made by wood, and decorated very tasteful and comfortable way. The owner lady Silvia is very helpful and friendly. I had to leave very early in the morning, then she prepared breakfast on the table at night, so that...
