Stayed here for a few nights in October. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very bavarian-ish. The view from the breakfast room is very nice. You clearly see the Bengal channel and the chile side. San Martin is just a few 5 minute walk down hill, but walking back up is up hill.

I stayed at the Posada Fueguina for four nights in March 2015 and was very very satisfied with everything. My cabin looked out over the Beagle Sound....one reviewer said they all face the hill..there's a row of cabins back to back with those which do face downwards. My cabin was lovely...only thing I would have liked more would have been...

Overall, it is a nice hotel, though prices, as generally for accommodation in Ushuaia, are rather steep. The general impression is that of an old traditional German chalet hotel. There are regular rooms and cabins. Rustic atmosphere. The room we had was large, comfortable and clean. Heating (again seems to be common for Ushuaia) is somewhat overdone, so we had...

Stayed here for three nights. Great rooms, spacious and clean. Two minutes walk to the centre. Very friendly people. Good start for all the beautifull tours you can make in Ushuia. From the hotel you have a nice view at the Beagle canal

The hotel and the cabana which was our room were really nice. You have a good view from the restaurant in Ushuaia. However the staff was pretty unfriendly, payment with credit card didn't work due to an old machine. The breakfast was disappointing. So in total the price in the high season is too high.

If you don't book a room in advance in the high season in Ushuaia, there is little chance of a room, if any. The Tourist office at the airport phoned around for some 30 minutes and only the two most expensive hotels of the town had rooms available. This having said, the posada Fueguina is well laid out with a...

Really enjoyed this very quaint hotel overlooking the harbor in Ushuaia. The room reminded us of being in a ship with it's dark wood. Very clean and quiet. Lovely people. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Ushuaia.

Great place 4 blocks up hill from port (good way to exercise after those hefty meals at Freddy's downtown!). Very comfortable and clean. Nice view accross Ushuaia Bay. Definitely recommended; have stayed there twice now.

We stayed here over christmas 07 with our two children aged 5 and 7 years and were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the rooms here, also the grounds of the hotel, which are probably the best kept in Ushuaia. The quadruple room we were allocated was extremely clean , spacious and well appointed, and you had a great...

“I think rooms are better than cabins - from some you get a view over the town and harbor, though windows are not huge. Cabins all seem to face the hill and the hotel building. We have not seen the inside of a cabin, so cannot judge the interior.”
