Staff was curt and aloof, not very helpful with problems. TV didn't work properly. Some of our fellow travelers had similar issues with customers service. Although we didn't get a room with a good view of the Beagle Channel, mountains, etc., the view from the hotel lobby was very nice. The hotel is a mile or two away from the...

The hotel is a bit out of the way. It is not located within walking distance of the city. It is on the channel and you can walk along the rocky beach. The rooms are good enough. There is a bar and restaurant. If you choose to eat there you need to give them your order a few hours before...

Wonderful buffet breakfast. dinner was very good and there is an good selection of malbecs on the menu. Staff helpful and friendly. As part of a tour group to Patagonia, we spent two nights here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with nice bathrooms and all look onto the Beagle Channel, so the views are magnificent. However, it was in a fairly isolated location so not convenient for walking into town, as it would have taken an hour along a very dusty...

Nice rooms, simple but comfortable; great view of the channel. Dining/breakfast room offers same great view of the channel while you eat. Good food. Nice people. Takes about an hour to walk into town, but taxi is not expensive. We were there in their autumn. Bring your rain gear for that season and your boots--not everything is paved. Everyone should...

Hotel Los Yamanas is located in the southernmost city in the world. In reviewing the hotel, one must keep the surrounding environment in mind. The city of Ushuaia is located on the the Beagle Channel on the island Tierra del Fuego, to which materials must be shipped or flown. The city's houses and buildings are constructed with durable materials (corrugated...

Los Yamanas Hotel in Ushuaia is a small, charming hotel, with a lovely view of the bay. There are two floors of rooms and the restaurant is located on the third floor. The rooms are large, the owners are friendly, and the hotel offers free WiFi although it doesn't always work well in the rooms. Both floors have lobbies that...

Stayed here with a very smart tour group. Though not "downtown" this has peaceful, lovely views of the Beagle Channel. The "lodge" is faux rustic which means it has amenities and just looks like a lodge. Perfect for the ambiance of Ushuaia. Since it was part of our tour, I don't know how it stacks up cost/value wise, but we...

You will wonder where the taxi is taking you! Out of town and down a dirt road! But when you get here, just take a deep breath and enjoy the view, which is awesome. You could stay in town, but it is easy to get back there, and it is just so relaxing here. We found the rooms to be...
