Amazing place where to make a stop and relax.. with a little pool for the hot days. The beautifull garden gives you a glimpse into the amazon with all types of vegetation, trees and flowers.. with incredible wildlife as colorful birds singing (the stunning cock of the rock if you get lucky!). The charming hostess Susanna will provide delicious food...

We were the only 2 people staying here, and received really personalized and amazing service from the owner, Sue. She made super healthy meals for us and has a whole pack of adopted dogs that were bound to die if she didn't take them in. I actually got quite sick while I was there and she let us stay in...

I stayed here in as part of a Tucan travel tour. From the very first impression, the owner Sue was very friendly and accommodating and so hands-on with helping us with our excursions and plans. The hostel has excellent camping facilities (which we used rather than dorms/rooms) like 24 hour hot water and great kitchen for cooking. Sue and her...

We stayed here after a long long tour of South America and we needed somewhere to relax and unwind. It is a perfect most beautiful patch to unwind and relax in with absolutley stunning views- get in touch with nature or get stuck into some fun adventurous activities. Fantastic hosts. Loved it! Thank you!

We did see the one bad review on this place in December before we went to Banos but decided to ignore it given how scandalous and exaggerated it was and so inconsistent with all other reviews; we are glad that we did! This person was far, far from the mark and is obviously not a traveler but just an uninformed...

Wow, where to start!!! The hosts Sue and Mark were fantastic. What lovely, friendly, hostpitable people with spot on local knowledge. The location is 17 kms out of Banos but it is very easy and cheap (50cents) to get into town. There is a small town 15 min walk away with many eateries also close by. It is nice to...

It's been 6 years since I last stayed at Pequeno Paraiso and I was super excited to get back to this stunning lodge and camp site. We stayed for three nights which gave us time to explore the two lovely waterfalls which are walking distance from the lodge and to raft the local river which was an exhilarating day out...

I recomend this hostel to anyone traveling through South America. The owners were amazing people and very accommodating. Myself and two friends camped in the yard of their hostel, but were still able to use everything they offered. Sue, one of the owners, gave us lots of options for hiking in the area and pointed us in the direction of...

This has got to be the worst place to stay in the whole of South America. The most inhospitable and selfish hosts that you can ever meet. They made our stay a complete hell. They have 2 dogs which jump up at you endlessly and are constantly running around, they will literally hound (no pun intended) and ruin your stay....

I brought my family in August to Paraiso. What a great find! It is perfect for families and is situated in a small paradise. Sue and Mark made us feel so welcome. They would discuss with us what we wanted for dinner, served a marvelous breakfast, and suggested many wonderful excursions. They truly tried to get a sense of what...
