We stayed in a private room at Chiminea and were impressed by the size of the room as well as its value for money (20$ per room per night, which is pretty cheap for SA). Over our four day stay the room was cleaned each day, which never happened at any other hostel during our time in Ecuador. The staff...

When I first took a shower i saw there were hairs on the shower wall as well as snot. I politely asked the person on reception to tell te cleaning crew to address this issue as well as tu leave the terrace door and windows closed. The night I arrived both the door to the terrace and the windows were...

This was a beautiful hostel on a great location. We had a private room with our own balcony that looked out on to the pool and a waterfall. It was very clean and the wifi was good. There was a kitchen and computers for use. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was also a fun steam box treatment...

Nice and big hostel with clean dorms. Delicious breakfast to a good price. The staff was really helpful and friendly, and when we wanted to cancel the last day we was suppose to stay they help us with a smile. Good location close to one of the hot springs in town

This hotel is the original of the ones with the same names. It includes a jacuzzi (for an extra cost), a small pool, and a spa. It is located very near to the hot spring pools, and waterfall in Banos. We found it in my book, and called on our way into Banos. For $17 per person, we had a...

A lovely hostel at a fantastic rate who are very accommodating. The breakfast offered is lovely and affordable. We didn't use all of their facilities but they have a little pool and a spa along with their computers downstairs. Location is perfect for central Baños, would definitely come back!

We were travelling as a group of 4 and we managed to just walk in without a reservation and get a lovely 4 bed dorm for an excellent price. The roof terrace is gorgeous, the breakfast was a great price and very speedy, the pool area lovely. We arranged a full body massage through reception and were able to have...

We were quite pleased when we were shown to our room on the third floor, overlooking the pool and facing the waterfall. Towels and sheets were changed daily and there was plenty of hot water (great water pressure too!). The terrace on the floor above us was a nice place to have breakfast in the morning and just hang out...

I stayed here in 2012 and again this year 2014. The rooms are very clean and the service is great. It's very cheap and is just a short walk from the middle of town( maybe 2 blocks). They take very good care of you here and they have safe parking. The showers are very hot!!!! I will be coming back!!!

Beside the chaotic but funny reception, this place was great value. The dorm was basic but clean. The hostel also has a swimmingpool (with really cold water), sauna and Jacuzzi. If you want to use the last 2 you have to make a reservation in advanced.
