I stayed here in March 2017 as part of a 2 week trip in Samoa. I stayed for 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer! I had a lovely fale on the water which was comfortable with (much needed) aircon and a terrace looking...More
The restaurant at this resort came highly recommended. The first time around we missed it and ate lunch elsewhere. We arrived late the second time around to find the kitchen was closed. We opted to have a couple of beers and take in the view....More
On the eastern most part of Savaii, Vaimoana is definitely the best place to stay. The service there is second to none. Very friendly staff who would go that extra mile to make you stay there relaxing and special. They have organized day activities to...More
By far this was our favourite stay in Samoa. The accomodation was comfortable, spacious and with a lovely view out to the bay. Not quite a resort as such, more a family hotel. The bay is gorgeous - sunrise and sunsets amazing. The staff were...More
Two hour drive from ferry building, but well worth the trek.
Friendly warm and welcoming staff. Courteous and willing to help.
Humble accomodation in an idyllic setting. Rooms are simple and dated, yet clean and cool. No drinking water, guests must buy bottled water. And...More

I'd take your own wine if you can. They had only cask wine when we stayed. Yuck! The local beer is good and relatively cheap. They make an awesome pinà colada as the coconut cream and pineapple are fresh. The other cocktails were not as nice as they use artificial syrup flavourings. Over all I'd say our bar tab was pretty cheap. We bought beer at the local stores for our fale as well. The young coconuts are lovely and refreshing too. As someone else said you need to drink bottled water which is about $SD6 from memory for a large bottle. We asked for a jug for our room so we could boil our own and refill the bottles. They were happy to oblige.
