We'd booked with The Savaiian Hotel for 8 nights but ended up staying 1. We arrived and were super disappointed to see the pool out of order and the sea looking gross and muddy. We expected to just be able to chill by the pool and tan, but not being able to cool down at all was not what we...

Talofa Josephine, We are very sorry to see your disappointing review. Unfortunately, our pool was out of order . This was something that was beyond our control and we were trying very hard to fix. Unfortunately, there is not a single pool shop/repair man in Savaii and our own usual mechanics had been unable to resolve our pool pump issues....

I stayed at the Savaiian for two nights in one of their bungalows. The room was big and airy and clean with en suite bathroom and located in a nice garden right on the sea front. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and arranged for a lovely local taxi guy to take me to some of the sites on...

We spent only one night at the Savaiian, but were very impressed. The hotel is very clean and attractive. Our room was very comfortable with a view out to the ocean. The best thing about it was the extremely helpful staff. They were very willing to help with any request we had. (Even unplugging the blender in the bar so...

We loved our stay at this locally owner and operated resort. We were shown true Samoan Hospitality. Best Pina Colada's in Samoa (and we tried a few). Beautiful gardens. Tidy rooms. We enjoyed every meal we had at the Restaurant. Thank you to the owner who took good care of our family. We also took a South Coast tour with...

Spent 2 nights at the Savaiian and it was really nice! The hotel is super clean and the staff very friendly! We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it! The only negative point was that the pool is quite small and was rather dirty (leaves, grass and others) on our first night.

Located close to the town & wharf. This local fale/hotel is a delight for those travellers who want to emerge themselves in the local islander lifestyle. Start your day overlooking the Pacific Ocean for a sunrise then enjoy an awesome tropical/Samoan breakfast. The restaurant serves affordable locally seasoned delights including fresh market fish & Devine volcanically grown vegetables. The staff...

My sixth trip to Samoa but first stay at the Savaiian Hotel... I wish I'd discovered this place on previous trips. We stayed just the one night in a superior suite as the accommodation was a good price for Samoa. Really felt at home at the Savaiian. The staff seemed friendly. The place was very clean and very peaceful. The...

This is our second stay at the Savaiian hotel and we love it there. We stay in a garden bungalow and find them perfectly adequate and great value. We find we don't need air conditioning or hot water. The meals are also a highlight and the food is consistently good and again, great value. A bonus is the vegetarian menu-...
