Picked Hotel Elisa because of the convenient location, it is close to markets and other attractions in town. The breakfast was average but really friendly staff in reception! My room was nice and cool thanks to the ac and I had a nice sea view from my balcony.

I've been to Apia a few times now but this was the first occasion I'd stayed at the Hotel Elisa, which I mainly picked because it had reasonably priced rooms available at short notice. It was one of those 'anywhere close to the middle of town will do' moments, but it turned out to be a solid choice. Since I...

The room I got included a bath (not shared as is the case with some rooms) and was large and comfortable with fridge, tea boiler, hair dryer and the usual amenities. Though I expected a balcony room (that was part of the description at Hotels.com where I booked the room, there was no balcony nor a view of interest (basically...

Stayed at this hotel on our second visit to Samoa. Nice place at a good price. Rooms are clean. Love their great flower arrangements on the staircase. Not have a lift could be an issue for older people but we didn't mind. Breakfast was only basic but that seems to be a Samoan thing.

Firstly... for perspective, we have stayed in extreme budget accommodation in Asia @ $15 per night with A/C which was in a different league to Hotel Elisa. How can previous reviews refer to this hotel as good value? We paid about AU$52 for a room in the backpacker section at the back of the hotel with AC and no window...

First thing to know about the Hotel Elisa: it has two parts, the regular hotel in front, and the backpacker style accommodations in the rear. I stayed in the backpacker part, and that's what I'm reviewing. This could have been nice: it's in a good location across from the water, and within a couple of minutes' walk to the main...
