My family had the best possible experience at the Hacienda Corona. We flew in Thursday for a Saturday wedding and flew out Sunday. Nissa and Jeff were nothing but perfect hosts, providing awesome breakfasts each morning.

This is a work in progress resort, quiet areas for conversation, VERY comfortable beds, old, old charm, out in the middle of nowhere, just where I like it! There is a great music room, great history and a kitchen that we both used and were fed out of. The owner and staff were very friendly. We used it as a...

Back in the day, Hollywood aristocrats like John Wayne came here as private guests As you step out of the parched desert landscape into the lush plant-filled court yard, you know why. When Mike and Nisa break out the wine and start telling you stories about horses, and movie stars and Mexican history, you'll forget where you came from and...

The Hacienda Corona de Guevavi is a real piece of the authentic old west. How often do you get to stay in a real hacienda that is over a century old? It was neat to walk in through the entrance, not into a standard hotel lobby, but into the original central courtyard filled with murals showing village life on market...

Hacienda Corona de Guevavi was the prefect facility for a retreat of our small staff. We rented all of the rooms in the main building which was perfect for 6 people (in one case two rooms shared a bath). The rooms are all very unique and the building has a wonderful history. During the day there were several areas where...

Our arrival at Hacienda Corona involved a greeting by a pack of friendly farm dogs (we love dogs and called them over to us, so I don't think non-dog lovers would have a problem here) and a phenomenal sunset, so it was a great stay from the very beginning. We only stayed one night, but we loved the setting and...

This is an amazing bed and breakfast in so many ways! The hacienda itself is a masterpiece, with stunning historic murals, several courtyards, fountains, pool, and even a mini cantina! The decor is superb, including an eclectic mix of styles such as Mexican antiques alongside modern chandeliers. Situated on a low hill, there is a gorgeous view of the mountains...

My husband and I just returned from a lovely two-day stay at this marvelous southern Arizona B&B, the Hacienda Corona de Guevavi. Our visit was delightful in every way. Wendy, our hostess, is not only charming and great fun, but also a wonderful chef. The breakfasts are delish! We drove down to experience birding in Southern Arizona and came away...

“the Patron room is killer”

“We stayed in the La Patrona room, which seemed more like a palace by itself. The room is huge with a sitting area and a large field stone fireplace. We especially enjoyed our own double door entrance to the outdoors and the wall of glass facing the Santa Cruz river valley. The master bath is larger than a standard chain's bedroom!”
