We had the good fortune of staying here for a recent work event. From the moment we stepped out of the car, the staff was warm, welcoming and we had no doubt every detail would be meticulously carried out.

This place is the epitome of the wow factor. The setting and style of the property makes you feel like you are in a desert and the grounds are kept impeccably. The pool area is large and there is a big pool for smaller children...More
We researched several luxury hotels in the area, but chose the Four Seasons due to the superb customer service typically offered at FS resorts. Except for one young man, the staff/service was great. The location was great, next to Pinnacle Peak, so we could walk...More

Starting with the positives, the bed was quite comfortable, and although the location is far north of central Scottsdale, the hiking was great. Would highly recommend the Pinnacle Peak trails.
As far as the resort itself, it did not live up to the Four Seasons...More

Bon Voyage! A luxury cabana will be fully private, larger than the public cabanas so you can have a small group or family inside, with the capacity to open or close the front, back, and side flaps to your liking. They are somewhat set apart from the others, like a stand-alone tent. You can open and close them off entirely from the public if you wish. They are usually distinguished by containing a flat screen TV and/or a mist fan. You will need to reserve it ahead of time and pay a fee, which isn’t a small one. First come, first serve cabanas consist of multiple lounge chairs grouped beneath canvas tents for shade, but are not private. These cabanas are arranged in a row against the back of the pool deck, directly next to one another, with the tent side flaps up. Each cabana contains two lounge chairs and a small table. You can raise or lower the back flap for shade purposes, but the side flaps have been removed for practical purposes (like for serving) as well as for allowing views of the pool, property and gardens. Some cabanas offer more privacy and shade than others based on how they are situated. My husband and I had our own perfectly semi-private shaded area this way, there was no need for a private cabana. However, you will need to be at the pool early (by 10:00 AM) to claim your cabana as there are a limited number of them, and many guests. You will still receive outstanding service and attention no matter which you choose: private cabana, no-reserve cabana, or poolside lounge chair. It’s ALL good here!
