We were looking for a easy location for remote people to get to that was nice and not overpriced. This worked out well for quality of rooms, meeting space, breakfast on outside deck, etc.. I am not a gambler and and did not even realize we were going to a casino until I checked in. Others seemed happy with casino...

Overall this place is adequate for a casino hotel. Food at the restaurant was OK. Service was very friendly. Good place for a business gathering but I wouldn't necessarily choose it for a personal vacation unless you wanted to gamble.

Took a little getaway with the girls for a relaxing weekend. Not a gambler but the casino is very small. The staff was very nice and informative of things we asked and if they didn't know they found someone who did. We stayed from Friday thru Monday. They had djs all throughout the hotel on weekends. Pool party on Saturday...

This is a first class resort property! Our suite was absolutely wonderful, spacious, immaculate and well appointed. It overlooked the adjoining golf course. Sadly, my schedule did not allow me to play a round! Servise in every respect was top notch. We were attending a corporate event with a large number of attendees. The meals were excellent as were the...

Recently I was playing in the poker room and ordered off the menu. When the waitress brought my food, she said the order came to $10.00. I looked at the receipt and saw the cost was actually $8.47. I gave her $10.00 and said to keep the change. I paid with chips. She counted the chips and said, " the...

Checking in was ok. Staff not very welcoming. Rooms are very nice and clean. Desert view includes parking lot, dirty retention pond, parking deck and high way. Not impressed for the cost upgrade. Pool was decent, nothing special. Drinks and beer $10, food menu reasonable between $8-$15, chicken wrap, burgers, tacos. Casino floor also decent. Staff not friendly or personable....

My wife and I like to stay here several times a year, but I've noticed in the last year their rates have gone into the stratosphere! It seems they used to have standard rates that might fluctuate a bit over seasons, but lately they've gone "full Vegas". For example, we wanted to stay on a Saturday the first week of...

I recently stayed at the Talking Stick for the second time in two months for business travel. While the hotel has many great restaurants and options for entertainment, it isn't as great for business travelers. The pool is nice, but towel service was sloppy and it was difficult to order drinks of any kind while sitting outside. I was happy...

There are many things to do for a fun and relaxing vacation at Talking Stick Resort. There is a shuttle to take guests to the baseball games as well as the riverfront for shopping. There are many restaurants on site though so it isn't necessary to leave the resort. The buffet is quality food with many options and reasonably priced....

We booked this stay thru Hotwire and got a decent price considering what going rates were around Scottsdale for Final Four weekend. And we booked in time to not pay the $25/day Resort fee. Our room was nice....decent view, nice bathroom. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Pool was ok, nothing special, pricey drinks. Having to walk thru the smoky casino...
