The resort has a very good location. Rooms are quite large and the bathrooms even larger with a nice decor. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to enjoy the pool and golf, having only a couple of days there, but what really stood out was the hotel staff. Very helpful, especially in the restaurants. My husband loves scones, but...

My husband and I stayed in mid-November 2014 for five days and it exceeded our expectations. Besides perfect weather, the surroundings and accommodations made it a very relaxing getaway. The brunch was delicious and pool was inviting with great service all day. We stayed in a casita which was spacious and in a great location of the property. My husband...

I had one weekend to unwind and treat myself while working in Phoenix, and after much research, I chose The Phoenician. It looked like an upscale, peaceful resort where I could really relax. Well, when I arrived it was chock full of children running around the lobby. Yes, it was Thanksgiving weekend, but it looked more like a Disneyland resort,...

We thank you for your comments, although we regret that you found your stay to be a big disappointment. During the winter holidays, we do tend to welcome a large number of families. In celebration of the season, we also unveil a number of special displays, including our gingerbread village. While there are certainly many large, public areas found on...

I liked the feel of a historic hotel. It was nice, the service was good. The rooms feel a little dated, but service made up for it. I was there for a conference and was glad that things were close. It was great that their limos they contract with are actually cheaper than Super Shuttle. Next time, I'll call ahead...

Stayed for an extended weekend on a pleasure trip. The grounds at the Phoenician are beautiful. The service was fantastic from beginning to end with lots of attention to the little things that add an extra special touch. The food was excellent (restaurants and room service). We had one little service blip during our stay which was a missed wake...

I'd been looking for a clay tennis court to play on for my father's bday and could only find private clubs that wouldn't let me in. I saw online that the Phoenician had a grass court (the only one I found in the valley) and called Belinda at the tennis shop at the Phoenician and she set me up for...

Spent the weekend in a deluxe casita room, overlooking the pond/pool area. Very generic room, no SW character and somewhat dated with blond wood and light tan marble. Il Terrazzo was very good for lunch, disappointed in J and G Steakhouse-- loud, very average steak--?this is prime? On the plus side, overwhelmingly great service across the board. Another downside, this...

The resort itself is getting a tad bit worn looking, probably ready for updating soon. Having said that, it was clean and comfortable. The pool set-up is GREAT for families, also offering a nice adults-only pool besides the kid friendly shallow pool and play area. Breakfast brunch was just okay for $25. The highlight was the staff! Always friendly and...
