I will like to start by saying that all the reviews that complain about the noise are overreacting. We stayed over the weekend, we were prepared with ear plugs after reading about the noise/partying and we had no need of any of that. We arrived on Friday, Uber downtown, party for a little bit we got back to the hotel around midnight and I was surprised to hear peace and quiet all around the hotel. Next morning, we woke up around 9am, by ourselves, the only noise we heard was the cleaning lady's cart being pushed by the hallway, not loud at all. Saturday the pool party started around noon and we did not left our room until 2pm. During that time even with the music blasting outside we had peace and quiet in our room, we could barely hear the party outside. We were surprised of how organized was the event, the amount of security and how well everything went. The party ended at 6pm. Music was off, everyone left and we went back to our room for more peace and quiet. So here is some suggestions, this is not an hotel for kids, probably ok during the week but not the weekends. We are in our 40s and we felt right at home, I don't know how old you need to be to stop enjoying some fun so if you feel you can't tolerate a little bit of noise during the weekend, this is not the place for you. Stop leaving bad reviews if you are not doing your research! This is a space for partying and having fun with a set schedule to do so, after that nobody will be bothering you. We had an amazing stay, we checked in and got upgraded to pool view. Late check out was offered and we left with some fruit for breakfast. They had enough parking for everyone. Close to the mall and old town. Location was great. I recommend if you want to party with friends, having a bachelorette or want to meet new friends. We had a blast.

I rarely take the time to write reviews for hotel stays, but felt compelled to write one for Hotel Adeline to prevent people from booking thinking they will get a great, or even sub-par, hotel stay. I will note we were aware this property has weekly pool parties with a DJ where non-guests can pay for a day pass to party and spend the day. Based on the reviews I knew it might be noisy, but I was here with a friend to celebrate their 30th birthday and we didn’t plan to be in the room much during these hours. I expected the noise to be the only minor con of the hotel, but unfortunately that was the far from the case. On the second day of our four day stay we wanted our room to get serviced while we were out for the day. When I picked up the phone in our room there was no dial tone and we realized it didn’t work. Not ideal, but we decided to go down to the front desk to request service and they confirmed they’d send someone to the room. We returned a few hours later to see no one had come. We saw someone from housekeeping outside our room and asked if they could clean our room, and they said yes. Spent a few hours at the pool, came back, and still no one had come to clean. Kind of annoying, but at this point we figured by the next day someone would surely come, at the least to replenish towels, toilet paper, toiletries, etc. Around 9am on our third day (5/2/2022) we made sure to stop by the front desk again to ask them to service our room and let them know our room phone did not work - we let them know we were low on towels and had no toilet paper. They confirmed again they would have someone clean and ensured us they’d replenish our toiletries. Upon returning a little after 6pm, we entered our room to find that once again no one had come to clean or even replenish anything!! At this point, we were pretty shocked considering asking for toilet paper to be replaced is pretty much the bare minimum - what did they expect us to use instead?? We called down to the front desk (using our own cell phone as the room phone still did not work) and explained we had asked a few times to have our room serviced, and were now out of essentials like toilet paper and towels. They promised to have someone bring them to the room ASAP. About an hour passes and we have to leave for a dinner reservation - we go to the front desk to ask them to send us toilet paper/towels again, and they promise to send them up. At this point we’re understandably irritated and the gentleman at the front desk was understanding and apologized and acknowledged we shouldn’t have to go through all of this. He even offered to take a portion off of one night of our stay, which we didn’t ask for but greatly appreciated. Check out was the next day, so I assumed that would be the last of our troubles, but nope! We wanted to request late checkout (this is something included as a Marriott Bonvoy gold member benefit, subject to availability). I decided to try Marriott’s in-app chat function with the hotel, since we had had little success from calling/going down to the front desk. After not receiving a response from the chat, we headed to the front desk once again around 11am on Tuesday 5/3/2022. The woman at the front desk confirmed she could allow us to check out at 2pm and told me I was all set. When we returned to our room a little after noon, our cards had been deactivated! We went to the front desk again, where a woman who said she was the manager said checkout is at noon and she had no record of the late checkout status on our room, and heavily implied that we were lying about having spoken to someone about getting the late checkout. At this point we were obviously frustrated as this was just one of MANY issues we experienced during our stay, and the manager didn’t even offer an apology, was quite rude and dismissed our frustrations as if WE were the ones responsible for the hotel’s poor service and communication. I understand some hotels may not be servicing rooms everyday due to COVID/staffing shortages, which I’m totally understanding of, but never ONCE did anyone on the staff say this was the reason for the lack of service or that they aren’t cleaning rooms everyday because of it. If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I certainly would. I’m honestly shocked this is a Marriott property and am almost willing to switch my loyalty to Hilton or Hyatt after this experience. You’d be better off staying at a motel where I’m sure at the very least they make sure you don’t run out of toilet paper.

We booked this hotel for the weekend of our wedding and couldn't have been more disappointed. After being in contact with several managers there and having little to no communication since November from them, Dani helped us craft a nice welcome party. However, no one else seemed to know about it. The signage, special drinks, music and snack menus she had promised didn't exist. When we showed up, the bar was charging our guests for drinks, after we had even done a CC form ahead of time. In talking with the bartenders, they knew about none of it. They then did help us establish our tab. I dropped off welcome bags on Thursday, I talked to the front desk about and they said they would hand them to our guests when they checked in. Friday, we found out that no one had received any. They then all started going to the front desk to retrieve them. Saturday AM, I went to talk to them about it and they basically said, I'm too busy and don't care so just call our manager, Ryan. I collected the remaining bags to distribute them myself. Friday night, at the speakeasy after the horrendous welcome party experience, I attempted to grab a chair for my 85-year-old grandfather who had just flown all the way from Philly. I was then berated by the bartender about the beer in my hand from the welcome party, and several security guards came to kick me out. After explaining the situation to the security guards they let me stay, but what an embarrassment and quite the scene for the 2 dozen friends and family I had in there, (basially the whole bar) buying drinks from the bar. I let Dani know that we would be leaving the wedding at 11 and would be back at the hotel by 1130 for a drink after. She let me know that the bars shut at midnight, however, they usually stay open if there are people wanting to buy drinks. Well, everyone showed up at 1130 and everything was shut, our whole party scattered and we didn't get to have drinks with them after. After all of this, I found out that my parent's room was never cleaned, bed made, toiletries replaced, etc. When they mentioned it at checkout, they said it was a one-off. Pam Brown emailed them saying it must've been an isolated incident. Well, that was over several days and then we found out that many of my family and friends also never had any of their rooms cleaned, even after asking for it! So not a one-off, a system failure. Only one guest got $100 off their bill. And not that it's necessary, but even after all the conversation, notes on the account, events we were having, etc, not one person wished us congratulations or good luck, offered any type of special treatment or gift, a bottle of champagne, a beer, anything. That's just bad hospitality and manners. Instead, I was charged an extra $150 to my room bill for an alcohol spill that we are very sure never happened. With the exception of the two bartenders, the security guards, and the waitress in the breakfast area, all of the employees were rude to me and my guests. After reaching out to the operations manager Ryan and the general manager Scott, they offered apologies but also said they had a different perspective. My many emails leading up to this, and the many different guests we had there, with their own accounts, prove otherwise. In summary, stay far away from this hotel. There are plenty of other great Marriott properties in the area that actually care about their guests.

The hotels operations manager Ryan Longoria was beyond helpful and attentive to all our needs and to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. It’s service like his that goes above and beyond any expectations and would encourage people to return as well as recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Our stay at Hotel Adeline was overall a fine experience. However, there were a few notable points that hindered the stay and feel that others should know before booking a vacation with the hotel. To begin, it all began with the lack of communication and unity between the staff members. Nobody knew if room cleaning was upon request or was done daily. This resulted in an inconsistent cleaning schedule for our room. This carried over to the amenities which are listed on the website such as *1 Hour of Daily Wind Down - Happy Hour in Speakeasy & *$20 Food & Beverage Credit. Both being a false advertisements, and while checking out they did not satisfy the $20 beverage comp and claimed they had heard nothing of it. After our room was not cleaned one of the front desk associates offered us drink vouchers which we thought was a nice offer. Come to find out they gave us drink tickets that were only valid for our next stay…….. this type of service is not acceptable for a Marriott hotel partner which holds much higher standards then what was displayed during our trip. Please take all of this into account when booking because you will be mislead by the information posted on their website.

Noisy and poor value. Ambassador Elite status, and chose to get nights at a Bonvoy for a wedding. First of all, and I gathered from looking at the photos but chose to ignore it, because I like mid-century architecture, this place was clearly a Motel 6 at some point in its history. It’s okay, but $375/night? Not even close. I have dresses for family wedding stuff and there is nowhere to hang even a short dress. My long gown is hanging from a picture. The room is dusty - the bathroom vanity light covered in dust. Only here for the first night and it was hard to sleep. We are in a King poolside room - only we are looking at a service building and can’t see the pool at all. Ambassador Elite, and this is the best they can do?! We must be under the walkway of the second floor - all we can hear is what sounds like huge airplanes rolling over us. I dreamt we had three earthquakes and realize I was hearing this god-awful noise. I felt bad as we arrive late last night and knew our suitcases must be crazy loud. Now I feel even worse! Would not recommend, even at the price. I won’t be getting much sleep…and there’s nothing more irritating than that.

Read the reviews carefully before booking. This place was disappointing (didn’t look at all like pictures, it’s a motor inn, and full of teens) on arrival so we didn’t stay even the first night but to their credit the motel was apologetic and accommodating - got a refund. Bummer as it would have been nice to stay in Scottsdale but this wasn’t it.

While the front desk staff was genuinely nice this hotel is tired, dirty and greatly lacking in staff. The first night the ceiling above the bathroom sink was dripping water. The next day the room was damp, damp, damp. The interior glass of the window was heavily condensed with water. So much so that the bedding was wet. I called twice, went to the front desk and called again. I also requested housekeeping on the 4th day. I understand it’s Covid and everyone is short staffed but the bedding was literally wet from the extreme moisture inside the room. Someone was kind enough to leave fresh towels for me at some point. No shampoo or conditioner(day 4 tiny bottles). I called the front desk. They apologized and someone (very nice guy) ran some amenities to the room. Thank you. Carpets in the room very stained. This property has a great vibe but the dirty carpet, wet room and lack of service/communication made for a very unpleasant stay

This is my 4th trip in 2021 to the Hotel Adeline. My typical length of stay is 4. Nights. The hotel started out super chill, mid century vibe and the music which can get annoying felt like a atmosphere you wanted to be in. This is ship is sinking to put it mildly. The employees “fight” “argue” and are just rude to one another right at the bar/ restaurant- the food here while extremely limited is not eatable. They get your order wrong every time and somehow it’s your fault. Rooms seem to never be ready upon arrival and they don’t extend a food or cocktail voucher to keep you occupied while you wait. I am a titanium Marriott member and live in these hotels and it seems this is the Marriott, Marriott forgot. The gym is very well equipped, it may be one of the best I’ve ever seen… (Sheraton Denver tho…) The staircase to get to my block of rooms is out of order… never heard of a staircase being out of order but here we are. It’s covered in caution tape and broken stanchions. The bed is very comfortable and only some rooms have a wet towel smell. There are no mini fridges for business travelers that like to get healthy snacks over fast food. This is my last stay with the hotel Adeline as the service, people and falling apart amenities make it a terribly experience

Excellent stay here for 5 nights over Thanksgiving week. Nice location close to downtown Scottsdale. It's walkable to downtown but a little distance. Great pool area with rooms surrounding the pool. Nice evening ambience with lighting and gas fire pit. It has a nice bar, open till 10pm at the lobby bar and also a pool bar which closes sooner this time of year. It has a large, elegant lobby. I have nothing bad to say, and would recommend. The price is reasonable too for the stay. Pet friendly is why we chose this, along with the price.
