This is a well situated hotel in Sedona. It’s location is ideal for most excursions. It is pricey as we paid over $1000 per room. I’m not sure the amenities live up to the price. The breakfast was at at best average. The cress restaurant was pricey at $1000 for four people without drinks. I’m not sure I will come back to this hotel in the future.

I will pass along your comments to the rest of our team to see how we can better align value and the overall guest experience going forward. Please know that we deeply value guest feedback and that your words do not fall on deaf ears. Please reach out to our guest experience team if you would like to discuss your stay in greater detail. Please don’t stay at this hotel - over rated and over priced ! I should have read the poor reviews before travel as they are spot on. Not only did they wrongly book the initial dates thereafter the experience didn’t get any better. Service very poor with inexperienced staff, room disappointing with noisy aircon & very expensive dining room with small portions. I could go on….. one plus was the spa - the massage was very good but with a heavy price tag. Stay away there is better options!

sarah-w1974, We have responded to your feedback on another review platform and will happily do the same here. I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. It’s regretful that you experienced such missteps and these issues will be addressed with our team to ensure that we avoid similar feedback moving forward. As hoteliers, it is our mission to provide our guests with a truly world-class experience unlike any other and to provide heart-centered service rooted in deep mutual respect. "Treat others the way you want to be treated" is one of our guiding principles and one that extends equally to guests and colleagues alike. We also believe that guests should treat our staff with the same respect and decency that we bestow upon them. Sadly, we received multiple reports from staff that their interactions with you lacked the basic dignity that we all expect and deserve. While it is truly regretful that your service experience did not live up to our own high expectations for your visit, we nevertheless cannot in good conscience condone such behavior. It’s therefore apparent that L’Auberge de Sedona is not the best fit for you and we wish you all the best with finding alternative accommodations during your future visits to the area.

With a view of the majestic red rocks of Sedona, and bordering a lovely creek, L'Auberge de Sedona was a perfect place to stay. Lovely accommodations, great views, excellent service, and good food made for a wonderful Visit. The location is ideal, with many good restaurants and shopping within one mile, and to which the hotel care service will take you at no charge. When we return to take another hike on one of the many trails surrounding Sedona, we will definitely stay at L'Auberge..

We had a wonderful time at L’Auberge. The creekside cottage that was our home for the week was comfortable and cozy. The bed and linens were perfect. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful with all our needs. They kept our cottage spotless and the turn down service was a treat. Our fireplace in the cottage was all set up and ready to light each evening. With just the strike of a match we had a cozy private fire to enjoy. Outside, we especially enjoyed the beautiful creek and back patio area with chairs and fire pits. The valet service and daily town car drop off service was great. They delivered us to nearby trailheads for the day and we did not have to hassle with parking and directions which was all included in our resort fee (no worrying about all the tipping, it was included). The spa was peaceful and very clean. The massage we scheduled at the end of the week was well executed and helped work out those sore muscles. We just had a fantastic week.

Extremely expensive for what you get. We rented a cabin which was about the same size as a hotel suite. The bathroom needs updating. Very few amenities. No shopping and no shop to purchase drinks or snacks. They will charge you $45 for a bottle of water in the in room fridge! Although it appears to be in town, there lacks sidewalks to walk to town. The restaurant is very limited for dining.

April S, Thank you for your candid feedback. I am so sorry to read that you felt that you did not receive value for your stay. As a boutique resort, our cottages are cozy and thoughtfully appointed. While this does not include a mini-bar, food & beverage items are made available to our guests through Cress on Oak Creek and in-room dining, and retail items are featured in our Arrivals Cottage and L'Apothecary Spa. Moreover, we have a selection of complimentary offerings available to our guests upon arriving in the room, including locally sourced artesian waters, kombucha, and healthy-conscious snacks. Replenishments are available for $8 and I am so sorry if this lower price point was miscommunicated to you. And lastly, there is a pedestrian staircase on property with direct access to Uptown Sedona, and we offer complimentary town car services to our guests for convenient transportation to nearby shopping and dining venues. I would nevertheless appreciate you sharing your concerns and please know that they do not fall on deaf ears. I invite you to reach out to our guest services steam at 928.282.1661 should you wish to discuss the details of our stay in greater detail. Thank you again, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again at some future date.

larryfowler, Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your service experience! That said, I was concerned to read your comments regarding the marketing decisions promoted on our website. L’Auberge de Sedona opens our doors to all, regardless of their age, sex, gender identity, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or sexual orientation. We believe that diversity and inclusion foster a rich and deeply authentic human experience for our guests and visitors. Moreover, many of our staff — who make great effort to provide the exceptional experience that you received — are proud members of the LGBTQA community and some of the most remarkable professionals I have ever had the honor of working with. We show all of our guests, yourself included, the respect and dignity that they intrinsically deserve, and believe that sharing space with others of diverse backgrounds enriches our lives and greatly improves the experience of those who entrust their Sedona getaway to us. I nevertheless appreciate your kind words related to your overall service experience, and we look forward to seeing you again at some point in the future.
