My wife and I booked our Sedona trip for a relaxing weekend getaway. The Sunset Chateau is a hidden gem. Room was clean, comfortable and the views from our balcony and living room were beautiful. The details from the soaps and lotions in the bathroom to the complimentary breakfast were fantastic. Definitely would stay again!!
My daughter and I were on a cross country road trip to celebrate her graduating college and I booked the Sunset Chateau for our stay in Sedona after reading the reviews. Boy am I glad I did. This place is fantastic! The room was well appointed and beautifully decorated with artwork and furnishings. The place was spotless and cozy. The beds were comfortable and everything was updated. And the view from our room was unbelievable (see picture)! The inner courtyard was spectacular. Everywhere you walked there were flowers, metal sculptures, water features, fire tables, and comfortable sitting areas. It was stunning! The salt pool was refreshing after a hike too. The cafe where breakfast was served was so nice and the breakfast was amazing. We tried the daily specials and they were so flavorful. The owner/staff stopped at our table and gave excellent suggestions for our morning hike (we saw a roadrunner during it!). The Sunset Chateau was conveniently located for hiking the airport mesa loop and easy to get in and out of. Their thoughtful attention to detail was truly amazing. The Sunset Chateau truly was a magical place that I cannot recommend enough. I will be back! …
Great staff, location and rooms. Property has beautiful views of Sedona. One of the scenic hikes - the airport trail is within walking distance of the hotel. Many good restaurants are within a couple of miles of the Chateau. You would enjoy your stay here.
This is a beautiful property in a great location. The staff is fantastic, a rare find. The breakfast is wonderful and made to order each day. The room we had (Bella Vista) had everything we needed and had a stellar view with no direct sunlight, which makes sitting on the balcony so nice and cool.
Sunset Chateau has become our "go to" place each time we visit Sedona. It's very close to activities, restaurants, etc. in Sedona, yet very private and quiet, tucked away at the top of Sunset Rd. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and the grounds and furnishings are very unique and homey. We also love the views of west Sedona and Thunder Mountain - can't be beat. The breakfast in the morning is always outstanding, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful views, rooms are extremely nice and breakfast was great. Very close to everything even though we did not want to leave once there. Planning the next trip already! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice quite clean place!!
I had a great experience while at SC. All rooms are uniquely designed and decorated and have their charms. We stayed at Suite 11. Very roomy, cozy, and had everything we needed and some more. Service is nothing short either. I highly recommend anyone to experience this B&B while in town.
Wanted to book this place so I emailed them. Got a response tight back and one employee said yes call us and we can book it, gave me prices, etc. when I called just two days later, an other employee who was a little rude said, I could not book it, it is to early and we do not have any prices yet. I told her Jenifer emailed me back and gave me prices and said to call you could book my requested dates and again she replied with a curt answer "NO". It appears no one knows what they are doing there, or how to book a reservation, it also appears for being in a hotel business they have no people skills. I emailed Jenifer back to tell her what had happened when I did call to book my reservations, and of course got no response back. It all worked out for the best because I booked another place that has a more convenient location, much nicer stay, better views, and for a little less. Be sure to do your research before the aggravation of trying to book this place.…
We stayed here for 4 nights in Jan and had a great stay. We had a living room with a gas fire place and kitchenette in addition to our bedroom which was all nicely decorated, with plenty of room to spread out. We had snow when we were here and the staff had it cleared promptly. The breakfasts were delicious and generous (smithing different every day like a large breakfast burrito with fruit). We had some issues finding a particular channel we wanted to watch and a staff person came to our room to help us make sure we found it. While it was cold when we visited, they had an outside fire pit each day and if you visit during warmer months they have some great outside spaces to sit and relax. We would highly recommend this place at any time of year.
We loved our room; the style and amenities were wonderful. The morning breakfasts were great and filled us up for a good part of the day. It was a great place to be able to see the sights in the Sedona area as well as a trip up to the Grand Canyon. This was our first trip but we will stay there in the future.
