My daughter and I went to Sedona for a mother/daughter getaway. We wanted to be in the heart of Sedona. An internet search indicated that the Matterhorn Inn fulfilled our needs, and it did! We were able to walk all around uptown Sedona and even to the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. We only had to drive to go hiking....

Wife and I took our daughter and son-in-law and two grandsons to Sedona for the night. Wanted to stay right downtown and the Matterhorn in was the best value choice. They told me they have a chalet one block away two bedroom two bath upstairs loft and kitchen for rent that is the same price as two single rooms at...

I loved this motel! I chose it because they allow dogs in some of the rooms and don't charge a fortune. It's very pretty. My spacious room had a little patio with a great view of the mountains. And it was in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff too.

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Matterhorn Inn. Upon arrival we were greeted by Melissa who went out of her way to help us. She showed us the different rooms that were available and gave us a tour of the pool, hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Every room has a fantastic view and we chose the...

Great location/view and very convenient to shops/dining/tour companies. Staff was friendly. The beds were comfy and it was nice to view the mountains from the patio. The rooms do need updating, but that is not problematic for me as it can make an inn/motel seem quaint. I so wanted to really like this place, based on the other reviews. However,...

The welcoming atmosphere, staff helpfulness, the location, and the large, clean rooms with amazing views were beyond our expectations. Thank you for making our short visit memorable. A little pricey but well worth it. Each room has a full patio looking down on the town or looking out to the mountains. We spent hours just relaxing and enjoying the views. Liked it so much we got takeout and ate on our patio.Wonderful view. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and beginnings for tour rides. Very friendly and...

This was our 5th stay at the Matterhorn, we love the location and the views. Parking can be an issue, you may need to use the street or public lot that's near the hotel. The only suggestion I have is, that they consider updating the rooms.

Stayed here two nights this year after a one night stay last year. Excellent value at a location we really enjoy with wonderful views from the balcony. Close to restaurants and shopping-perfect for five women traveling together. Older motel but everything was well kept and clean. Will stay again on my next trip to Sedona.
