The Forest Houses resort was a four night stopover on a recent road trip, & next time it will be the focus of our trip. Nestled in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona, it was just exquisite. Our house, Cook House, was beautifully updated & comfortable...a large bright kitchen had every cooking need, & the spacious bath had a jetted...

One is Sedona's hidden treasures in Oak Creek Canyon. Drive right through the top several inches of Oak Creek. Secluded and serene. Firewood provided and each house is a separate fully appointed kitchen home in the pines

First let me say that all the cabins here look wonderful to stay in, but due to my complacency in making reservations, the only cabin left for our dates was the Cook House. If you want to stay here, I would suggest making reservations well in advance. The prices are great, everything else in Oak Creek Canyon was way more...

NOT dog friendly (even though they claim to be), their cleaning company they use do a poor job AND lie. My husband and I stayed in the Cook house (weird layout btw) with our daughter and two dogs. Per their agreement we covered ALL the furniture with sheets we brought just in case our dogs got on the furniture (which...

We stayed in the Tree House. Loved it! It was very romantic to stay here. It was everything I read it would be. Quiet and in a beautiful setting. A little north of downtown Sedona. I would call it a great get away for a couple or couples. Not much is around there but the beauty of your surroundings and...

It is called a resort but that is a bit misleading. It is more of a retreat. There are a number of cabins on the property varying in size from a one room efficiency to ones that will accommodate 10 people. Every cabin is different. All seem to incorporate wood and stone and have patios or decks with views of...

Around Sedona you can either stay in a busy town or in the cool and quiet of the Oak Canyon. Forest Houses Resort is located in the canyon and is a magical place. For a start you have to traverse a shallow ford where the river runs direct over the forest road. The houses are quaint and rustic and all...

we stayed in the "barn House" and had a great time, the biggest issue was the stairs to get to the 2nd floor . the place was very peaceful and very relaxing, you have to drive over a stream to get to the cottages, which was pretty cool and their are trails all over the place, we have been wanting...
