Sedona Pines is located in what’s called “West Sedona.” Or even a little more west of that, towards Jerome or Cottonwood. We got groceries from Safeway, which is maybe 15 minutes away. There are way too many restaurant options to list.
The front desk is open 24 hours, which is great for late check-in. You can ‘rent’ DVD’s if you need something to watch (you really just sign them out to your unit).
There’s Putt Putt, spas and an outdoor pool, but we didn’t use any of them (it was a bit too cold for the pool, then it closed after 1/1). There is also a laundry facility, which has several washers and driers that are free to use.
Our unit was clean and comfortable. The kitchen feels a bit tight, but it has all of the things we needed. They supplied salt & pepper and a few packets of sugar & sweetener, plus some coffee & tea, but not enough for the week. If you are here for a week, housekeeping comes in once to clean and exchange the towels. Since it was just the 2 of us we had plenty of towels, plus with them being exchanged there was enough. We had enough space to store our clothes – there’s a closet in the bedroom, plus a couple of drawers. There are also several drawers in the bathroom for storage.
The towns of Jerome & Cottonwood are not too far to go explore. A day trip up to Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon is also do-able. Make sure to check out things like Tuzigoot, Red Rock Canyon, Montezuma’s Castle, Fort Verde, Bearizona and Palatki Heritage Site.
"When you’re sent to get your parking pass, don’t sit down; say “just give it me”, or don’t go at all as I don’t think you even need it."Read full review
"All rooms are casitas and do not share walls with neighbors. Every room has a very large patio."Read full review
"The shaded spots by the pool are popular. Some people are inconsiderate and leave their towels on the shaded chairs and then never return."Read full review
