Loved it! A beautiful property - very, very well located. I would not upgrade to the mountain view when I return. The trees (which didn't have foliage), obscured the mountain view. The staff was outstanding!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amara. The hotel staff were SO friendly and helpful, the amenities were amazing and the breakfast was fabulous. Would 100% come back if we visit Sedona again in the future.

The location is perfect to walking to restaurants and shops. The rooms have amazing views of the mountains and some of the creek. I love the small boutique hotel charm and touches. All staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Amara. Very impressed with the attentiveness of all staff. The setting was idyllic with fresh snow covering the desert scape and red rock mountains. Have already recommended Amara!

Exceptional in-town property that provided amazing Sedona views, but also allowed walking access to old town shops and restaurants. Hot tub/pool with views, along with creek side location make it the best value in higher end properties we found in Sedona

If you’re thinking of visiting Sedona, this is the place to book a stay at. The staff is incredible. There’s an amazing restaurant/bar in the resort. Complimentary valet. Location is great too. Close to quite a few great restaurants/shops and nature/hiking areas.

Not up to any Kimpton standard I’ve ever had. For the price, super disappointing. Won’t be returning. Mediocre food and service. Poor room quality - downright depressing and heat/air barely worked. Trash kept in guest walkways in hallway on daily basis. Front desk let valet know I wanted my car once of five times requested. Valet was the only quality service in the place.

We stayed for an extended long weekend in January. What an amazing resort Everyone was so friendly. The food at Salt Rock was delicious. The staff were warm and accommodating. The room was great with an amazing view of oak creek. And the spa was sublime. An amazing stay. Lots of great advice on hikes and activities. Overall an exceptional stay and an exceptional resort. Would repeat!

Stayed here for five days in mid January and absolutely loved it! It’s a short walk to town or the hotel staff will be happy to shuttle you up in a golf cart. Wonderful amenities like pool, hot tub and gym. Highly recommend!
