hotel is a good price for Sedona, rooms are a little small and really dated but it was a great stay. it is walking distance to grocery store and lots of food choices. front desk was really helpful and always there if you had a question. if you are on a budget it is a great hotel.

First of all, please do not expect a 5 star hotel when you book this Motel! It is a great budget motel situated in a great location in west Sedona surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable which is all I look for on a driving holiday. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker in room....

We traveled the entire month of February 2017, and were definitely looking for budget-friendly places to stay. It was very difficult to find anything in Sedona that we considered reasonable, but the Sugar Loaf Lodge was close. My husband and I were very impressed with Thor, the young man at the front desk who made our stay more pleasant by...

Three of us girls arrived and checked in with a very friendly man who liked to talk about Sedona and seemed interested in where we were from. He was informative as to the amenities and when the continental breakfast would be available in the morning. The actual room was very simple but very clean and comfortable. The beds were warm...

While traveling Arizona on the road bikes with a friend, he recommended staying at Sugar Loaf Lodge while in Sedona. I like simplicity, and this fit the bill perfectly. Located on 89A close to town, restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket close by. Check in was a breeze, and the room was very clean. Definitely will be staying here...

You can imagine our disappointment when we recently visited Sugar Loaf Lodge in Sedona that Priceline had rated at four stars. It started at the broken door to the shoddy reception area with rude staff and continued when we entered our room with the 1960 era decor, thread bare towels, curtains coming off the tracks, lack of sound proofing between...

We met a lot of friendly people during our 2 week trip to Arizona, but none more so than Thor at Sugar Loaf Lodge. On arrival he welcomed us like we were old friends with so much warmth and the biggest handshake I've ever known! The bed was comfortable, we had a microwave and fridge, a good shower and added...

Other than the noisy heater and fridge. , it was a nice stay. The rooms were clean and had a lodge feeling. There were coffee maker and micowave. The parking was a little difficult but the staff was cordial and welcoming.

I checked in at the Sugar Loaf well after hours, and an envelope had been left for me with my key. This is a true Ma & Pa operation, but everything was Completely Clean & Comfortable at a very reasonable price for the otherwise-very-expensive Sedona! In the morning, while waiting for my hiking friend George to pick me up out...

Honestly, the location and the price were the only things going for it. Beds were terrible and we missed out on two nights sleep in a row. Old facilities, loud fan/heater interrupting your sleep and not particularly friendly front desk staff. Will not be returning.
