Truly a hidden gem, if you have the chance to stay here you absolutely should! The location is perfect, close to so many beautiful hiking trails. The rooms are a good size and the hotel service and inn keepers were fantastic. Even when booking the hotel we received an extremely informative email that offered suggested hikes, places to eat, etc which helped us plan our trip! The included daily breakfast is worth staying here alone, my husband and I are both gluten free and they provided delicious accommodations every day- we even got gluten free French toast! Additionally there was a day we needed to leave early and would miss breakfast, so they packaged us up to-go breakfasts to take with us on the road. The medicine wheel and labyrinth were a great and enjoyable Sedona touch as well. We absolutely 100% plan to stay here again. …
This quiet property, set in a part of West Sedona less touristy, was just what we needed after the bustle of the Grand Canyon. Our room, Settler's Pine, was spacious and clean, allowing us to settle in quickly. As one review pointed out, only two pillows are on the bed, but the review forgot to mention that there are extra ones in the closet. After a early morning hike, we loved sitting by the pool, which because it was low season, allowed us to relax by ourselves. Both innkeepers were welcoming and helpful. Lori especially offered on point recommendations--she has a gift for listening to your needs and determining what might be interesting to you. This property is well-loved by repeat visitors. For runners, a trail is less than a quarter of a mile away--easy to get to and explore before breakfast.…
The location in West Sedona was great as it was not as busy and crowded yet provided quick and easy access (via automobile) to restaurants, hiking trails, and uptown Sedona. The breakfasts were terrific and the host and other employees were great. They provided great ideas for things to do in the area and were very helpful in general.
A lovely, peaceful place to stay! We enjoyed the patio with a view of the red rock scenery, the in-room gas fireplace, mini fridge & jacuzzi tub. And the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! We also appreciated all the information and advice provided by the innkeepers, on things like local restaurants, hiking trails, etc. The location is walking distance to some trails, shops & restaurants in West Sedona. Highly recommend!
Excellent place to stay in Sedona. Spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms. Breakfast was wonderful in a lovely common room. Great views of the red rocks. Convenient to attractions. Lori made us all feel very welcome. One of our party has already recommended this inn to a friend. We would definitely stay here on our next trip.
We enjoyed our stay at your lovely Inn very much. Trevor our host was so friendly and informative about the inn and surrounding area. Our room was spacious with an extremely comfortable king bed. Breakfast was yummy and plenty to eat! The breakfast area had a large woodburning fireplace and large windows with beautiful views of the grounds around the inn. Very peaceful area close to hiking trails and short drive to downtown Sedona. Would not hesitate to return!
This was our second time staying here, the first was back in 2002. We were pleased to see that it was still as beautiful as we remembered! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and shown to our beautiful room. The room, Far Pavilions, was awesome and had the most incredible views of Thunder Mountain and more! Breakfast was delicious too! A great value and we'll be back again!
My wife and I were in Sedona for the Half Marathon, and the Alma de Sedona Inn was recommended by several people. The innkeeper could not have been friendlier or more knowledgeable. The room was nice and clean, bed super comfortable, all good value. We had breakfast one morning and it was great! We would definitely stay here next time and recommend it without hesitation.
We spent six nights at the Alma and are checking out now. What a great find! The room is spacious, and there is a beautiful view of one of Sedona’s famous red rock mountains right outside our patio. Breakfast was very good, and they were flexible to accommodate my special request each morning. It’s also a very quiet location. Lori and Trevor were helpful and a good resource for things to do in town. Altogether it’s great place to come and enjoy the spectacular Sedona scenery. Would highly recommend.
The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast and coffee every morning was delicious and if we left early for day trips Lori arranged for us to have a to-go breakfast. Very sweet, helpful and polite. She even arranged our train trip so we didn’t have too We had a great stay here for 9 nights. We can’t wait to stay again. Thanks so much to all at Alma de Sedona for all of your hospitality!
