Our Sedona accommodations at The Inn Above Oak Creek were excellent. The Inn and our room are beautiful, spacious and comfortable with wonderful amenities. The room is also very clean and well maintained. It was great to have a fireplace during a cold week in December. The check-in process was efficient with helpful information about the Inn. Kimberly is terrific and provided suggestions for restaurants and hiking trails. We appreciated the personal and thoughtful extras: homemade cookies, coffee/tea and fresh fruit all day, and a nice variety of breakfast items including fresh muffins. We enjoyed the daily breakfasts in the cozy lobby area. The location is perfect with many restaurants and shopping close by. I highly recommend The Inn Above Oak Creek.
Comfortable rooms, great views and extremely helpful in the perfect location. Fresh baked muffins and cookies throughout the days was a treat. They even loaned us a pass for parking at the trail heads. We would stay again!
The room the amenities, the view, and the service were all outstanding. From the chocolates left in the room, to the warm cookies in the afternoon and evening, to the bath salts for the tup, to the warm muffins in the morning, we wanted for nothing. I could not recomend this Inn more highly.
We have stayed in The Oak Suite twice now and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It’s ridiculously spacious with two balconies overlooking the creek. Bed is very comfortable. Just wonderful! And centrally located which is a big plus! The full kitchen and extra half bath are luxuries.
We stayed in room 11. Yes - the views are perfect. So was the room. Large comfortable bed; sitting area with fireplace and a large bathroom with jetted tub. We had an odd experience our first evening when the hot water tap in the sink started to drip then run for no apparent reason. We called the after hours line and Kimberley was extremely helpful and got everything looked after for us in the most timely fashion. With a larger than usual continental breakfast in the lobby, it was ideal to curl up with coffee and a book early in the morning before choosing a breakfast option. The hotel is perfectly located to walk into town; to assorted malls nearby and easy driving access to wherever you need to go. The staff were all great and only made our stay that much better. I can’t think of a better Inn; a better location or a better room to have stayed in while visiting Sedona. …
Kimberly is a fantastic hostess. Anything we asked for help with was accommodated from helping with restaurant reservations to booking excursions to helping us map out a day plan. The location is perfect and the amenities are great. Walking distance to all you need to make your trip perfect after a day of fun.
My husband and I visit Sedona often, and for several years we have stayed at the Inn Above Oak Creek. We always get a room overlooking the creek, and in warmer weather have breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view of greenery, the water, and red rocks. The service here is wonderful, and when we return from our hike it's always a pleasure to find the bed all made and everything spotlessly clean. The lobby always has coffee available, and in the morning goodies for breakfast. Below the hotel is a huge yard the size of a small park, and we've enjoyed many relaxing times at the creek's edge watching the ducks paddle by. On our December visit, we had the good fortune to have an overnight snowfall that left the views outside a winter wonderland. Since I frequently take sunrise photos while traveling, I was able to catch a reddish wash of early morning light over the landscape and the sight of freshly fallen, untouched snow on the deck. It was a breathtaking, rare experience. Throughout this stay, we enjoyed having the warm glow of the fireplace, especially to take the edge off the morning chill. Staying at the Inn always enhances our stay in magical Sedona. With Kimberly and her crew as hosts, our visits simply couldn't be better.…
This was our second stay at the Inn above Oak Creek. This time, we brought friends. The Inn is in a perfect location. There are several restaurants across the street and you can walk to town. The inn is in the heart of red rock country on Oak Creek. The room was so clean, comfortable and quiet. Our room had a gas fireplace and jacuzzi. Breakfast was a treat with three different kinds of homemade muffins every day along with fruit, cereal, bagels, etc. Homemade cookies were the night- time treat. The "get together" area when you first walk in is cozy and welcoming. Kim was the manager on duty for most of our stay. She was great to talk to and answer questions. You can tell that the people who work there must love their jobs because everything is so well done. When we return to Sedona, we will return to this Inn.…
This small guesthouse offers a high standard of accommodation for a relaxing stay. We were warmly welcomed on arrival before 10:00am and offered refreshments as we waited for our room to be prepared (with actual occupancy before 11:00am because the previous guests checked out early). The room was very clean and comfortable. The local advice from the friendly innkeeper was very helpful. Although a full breakfast isn’t served, guests can avail of plentiful breakfast items, toast a variety of bagels, and microwave their own frittata or filled breakfast rolls, accompanied by fresh fruit juice and a wide range of teas and coffees. A more intimate and personal stay than in a larger establishment, the only downside we might anticipate would be if the morning light penetrating the venetian bedroom blinds were to disturb guests’ sleep (not a problem in Dec/Jan, but perhaps in the summer months).…
This was a wonderful place to stay. A welcoming lobby for hanging out and visiting with friends, great cookies, bed was so comfortable and the room was quiet and perfect. It's walking distance to the art district and the main drag. Would stay there again without hesitation.
