Nestled in a prime location, Los Abrigados Resort and Spa garners praise for its cleanliness and serene, family-friendly atmosphere. The spacious rooms with kitchen amenities are popular among travelers, despite being somewhat dated. Guests appreciate the comprehensive amenities, particularly the pools and fitness center. While the resort's proximity to shops and attractions in Sedona is a highlight, be aware of the unexpected resort fees and sales pitches that some have found diminish the overall value. The staff generally receives accolades for their responsiveness, though service can occasionally be inconsistent.

We read Trip Adviser reviews and booked a week anyway. We were very happy we did. The location is fantastic! Clean, well appointed, park like and calming. In 4 minutes you can: Walk to Tlaquapaqua, the Oak Creek park, mini golf, Javalina park, meditation garden, tennis, basketball and 2 pools, plus the big kids pool all on property! We had a 1 bdrm. It was very clean, everything worked, furniture looked new, walls were not chipped/broken, kitchen well appointed, had partial view of the red rocks, was quiet, and bed was comfy. There was no odor, the ceilings were vaulted in the main room so it seemed bigger. We had breakfast and lunch in the room most days. Dinner out and there are an abundance of great family owned resturants to choose from. Parking was easy. Only thing, no elevators. So if you're lucky to get a 2nd floor be prepared to carry everything from the parking space and up a flight of stairs. There are ADA rooms with easy access parking too. Families were BBQ'ing every night. Yes, the place is old and the exterier needs repairs and yes there is laminate kitchen counters but Hilton bought it from Diamond and soft and hard refurb is comming. We were here a week, loved it, was a little sad to leave but will definately be back!

The location of this resort is wonderful, within easy walking distance to Tlaquepaque and in the heart of Sedona. The room was very clean though the decor a bit old. The rooms could use a bit of updating. Also, we wished the kitchen had been more well stocked. We were only a couple, but since we ate in nearly everyday, the four place settings (plates, glasses, silverware, etc.) lasted us - well, a day. We found ourselves either using the dishwasher everyday (however, the front desk kindly provided us with a whole bag of dishwasher soap!) or hand washing our dishes. We encountered a bug problem when we tried sitting outside on the patio. Coming from Southern Utah, we hadn't anticipated having to deal with bug bites. We ended up not sitting out on the balcony and realized that from now on we need to bring a bug repellent with us! Overall, our stay in the resort was an enjoyable one.

Los Abrigados has a fantastic location in the heart of Sedona and next to Tlaquepaque , Great views. However, I have been going there for more than 25 years and it desperately needs a renovation. Rooms and bathrooms are old as is the furniture and the beds and pillows are really uncomfortable.

This resort is located in a beautiful spot in Sedona. It's next door to Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village, several restaurants and it is located on lovely grounds. Although we didn't try them all, there are many different activities to enjoy, including pickle ball, tennis, mini golf, and a refreshing pool. There's equipment to borrow, which I'm assuming is why there's an additional $30 resort fee per night, regardless of if you use them or not. There's also a restaurant and bar that we didn't go to either, although a woman brought some tasty looking pina coladas to the pool. We took advantage of the "free" laundry, which had 5 washers and 4 dryers. You can ask for some laundry soap at the reception desk. It was a bit busy if you hit it at the wrong time but it was nice after being on our trip without laundry facilities for 5 days. Our studio "run of house" room 302 was comfortable, although it's promising to hear that updates will be made soon, as it seemed a bit worn and could use some refurbishing. I'd stay there again and would recommend it to both adult travelers and families with kids. It was definitely a good home base for relaxing and enjoying a nice resort, exploring the city and getting out for hikes around Sedona.

We recently returned for our second stay at this beautiful resort, and it did not disappoint! The stunning surroundings and well-maintained grounds create a serene atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation.

The resort's central location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring nearby attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. The friendly staff truly enhance the experience, always ready to assist with a smile.

This time, we took full advantage of the fantastic facilities. The children's pool was a hit with the kids, and they loved playing at the playground. The jumbo-sized chess board was a fun addition, offering a unique way to bond with family.

We had such a wonderful time that we’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend this resort for families looking for a memorable getaway.

Great resort with a central location that is within walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants and bars in the downtown Sedona area. Los Abrigados exceeded our expectations, especially for the great price we were able to get on our last minute, 2 night getaway. The property is beautiful, so do walk around and explore (especially down by the creek). They even have pickleball and tennis courts! Our room was very clean, and even though we reserved a studio I think we may have been given a 1 bedroom as we had a bedroom, living room, dining room and small kitchen (WOW!) Room was well appointed, a little dated, but clean and quiet.

Los Abrigados is a stay above any regular hotel in the area. The rooms all kitchinets and refrigerators. The fact that there is dishware, silverware, drinking glasses, plates, and even pots and pans, is a real advantage over a regular hotel room! This is wonderful, because eating out is very expensive these days. The bedroom is by itself away from the living room, and the couch has a pullout bed! The money you save not going out to eat every meal can go to touring Sedona or some other adventure. Tennis courts, pool, mini golf for the kids. This place has a lot to offer for everyone, and is has a great location. We will be staying here for sure the next time we visit Sedona. Very good deal for your money.

Last time I was in Sedona was a year ago. This resort is a far better price, excellent location, attentive staff, extremely spacious accommodations, heated pools, jacuzzi, live music, and can walk to shops and restaurants.

I recommend this resort to all my friends. From the minute I checked in and throughout my stay, the staff are hospitality superstars!

Los Abrigados deserves a 5-star rating (if you plan to stay 1-3 nights as this was our length of stay).
Don’t pass up this stay to determine whether you fall in love or not! Such incredible value for the price!!
My husband and I will ABSOLUTELY be returning and consider returning with my 6 children for family vacations as well. The grounds and amenities are all beautifully kept and reflects the enchantment Sedona offers. I made sure not to work during my weekend stay so WiFi was not a concern/use for me. This is an expansive complex so the limited 1-star rating experiences are understandable. The shops are all accessible and YES, are within walking distance.
The suite was a pleasant surprise as our expectation of the room we booked was set by the third party booking service we used. When we arrived to our suite, the room was indeed a 1 bedroom apartment! More than what we needed or expected! The issue we had was there was only hot water when I showered which was concerning. I do hope the team/management rectifies this issue. The premises have a beautiful playground (for those with children, the kids will be entertained)! The pool and jacuzzi are available and heated! The hotel rooms are spaced enough to have semi private patios. The streams and vines throughout the hotel premises made the walks all the more pleasant.
Richard, the receptionist is humorous and sweet!! The concierge host is informative as she shared good information about all events/shops offering “free appetizers” & 10% off services to hotel guests. What MORE can you request from the heart of Sedona?

These questions would perhaps be better answered by calling the resort directly. If you are able to trade into the facility you are very lucky and getting a good deal. We have tried to trade into this resort and have not been able to. Instead we paid over $700 for two nights. The grounds are lovely and it is nicely located. Our unit was comfortable and quiet with laundry facilities available in the same building. We enjoyed our stay as I’m sure you will also.
