Poco Diablo Resort enjoys a wonderful location, often praised by guests, and offers spacious rooms with appreciated amenities like fireplaces and patios. However, some visitors suggest the decor feels outdated and have raised concerns about soundproofing and maintenance.
While the resort is acknowledged for cleanliness and comfortable atmosphere, opinions on service and value are mixed, with praise for the staff's helpfulness being offset by reports of slow service and a sense that the prices don't match the current state of amenities and facilities.

Detailed Reviews
Poco Diablo Resort really took care of us as we chose that establishment to host our guests and wedding party for 3 days during our destination wedding. They rolled out the red carpet for us and set up the perfect rehearsal dinner for over 20 people on a patio perched out over their amazingly maintained grounds with the most incredible and awe inspiring views.
This place surpassed our expectations. They gave us a group rate and a beautiful bridal suite with a hot tup and patio that opened up onto an incredible scenery. We had a half a dozen children from all ages that ran across the sprawling gras and played under the shade of the large trees. We had about 10 rooms clustered around each other, and we felt comfortable letting our kids run from room to room. It's location was perfect too, as it relates to all of the must-see sights of Sedona.
The staff were prompt, attentive, kind and accommodating, even after we checked out of room late;). In truth, we did not want to leave this place of serenity.
We recommend this place to anyone. You'll love it!

Beautiful resort. Very clean, excellent staff (particularly Charles in restaurant), well designed for individuals with physical disabilities, beautiful views, pet friendly. Highly impressed with how committed to sustainability the resort is—there are recycling baskets in each room and in the front of the resort as well. Only downside is that the quality of food was not great and that the food was price point was very high. I wouldn’t have minded paying resort prices for food if it had been resort quality but the food was mediocre at best. Regardless I’d definitely recommend staying here without hesitation.

I stayed here this past weekend with my mom for Mother's Day. This was my third time staying at the resort and will likely be the last. The "room upgrade"/balcony room we requested was on the older side of the resort I'm guessing (near the pool) and the room was not up to our expectations. It was like night and day from rooms during previous stays. The room was not sufficiently lit (lights burnt out above and next to bed, which provided the only lighting on that side of the room) the furniture was in poor shape and the bathtub had mold/mildew and would not drain sufficiently. The wallpaper was peeling in certain areas and overall the room could have used some TLC. When we checked in there was a dirty cocktail glass by the door outside of our room and it sat there for both nights we stayed and was never picked up. I understand maid service was limited due to COVID but I think this should have been noticed/addressed.
Rooms do not have smart TVs with Netflix or Hulu capabilities, just cable. Not really an issue just worth mentioning as this is always a nice amenity to have at a hotel stay and is becoming more common.
The restaurant was overpriced, and so was the coffee. We paid over $11.00 for 2 coffee drinks (no complementary tea, water or coffee, maybe due to COVID) and the drinks were extremely sub par. The gentleman working it was very nice but was by no means a barista and they were charging Starbucks prices. We ended up going out for coffee anyway and dumping it.
The grounds were neatly kept but with all the additional/hidden fees the resort is definitely not worth what you end up paying in the end. The fitness center is large but antiquated but the pool area was well maintained.
I used to LOVE this place and past experiences made my trips to Sedona memorable, unfortunately I don't think we will be back.

I stayed here years ago and had a fantastic experience, but this place has definitely gone downhill.
This "resort" now looks and feels more like a motel than anything else. Outside doors facing sidewalks with screaming housekeepers and kids, this might as well be a Motel 6 with a nice lake and courtyard.
The beds are hard as a rock, the shower faucet was leaky, and the room just looked so outdated. The great ending to it all was housekeeping banging on our door at 9am trying to get in to clean even though we had the crappy do not disturb sign in the key slot. Got a saccharine rich apology for it all during checkout.
Would never recommend this place unless you're paying $400+ for one of their suites or if you're super desperate about bringing Fido along on your trip that you're willing to overlook quality.

Absolutely stunning grounds and vore of red rock hills, great restaurant and service. The conference room was set up nicely and temperature for both room and center was adjusted accordingly. Tours could be scheduled from the resort.

Stayed two nights in the resort. First impression of the room upon arrival is that the rooms need to be updated, old carpet, furniture, etc. Room was large with two queen beds that opened onto a patio on a green space, 9 hole gold course, not too far away from the clubhouse and restaurant. Bathroom was also large with another sink located in a hall leading to the bathroom. Had no view of beautiful red rocks, no microwave in the room, gave us two bottles of water and when we requested more they told us we only got two. Parking was sufficient but in order to get to our room had to climb two steps of stairs, no handicap access and with a bad knee and suitcase it was a difficult climb both up and down. For the price we paid $400 a night I would expect more. Not convenient to the downtown area unless you have a car. Restaurant was expensive, only went and crab coffee and bagel in the morning but could have left the property and got these items cheaper. I would not stay here again. More affordable lodging could be found.

I visited Poco Diablo last week and had an incredible time. This was a very last minute planned trip and I am so glad I stayed at the resort.
First of all, we are in Covid times. Because of this - and if you book directly on the resort website, you will see they do not have daily housekeeping nor do they currently have room service. However, a simple phone call to the front desk and you can get toiletries and towels replaced. TCs also offers takeout orders if you prefer to eat in your room.
I splurged for the Elite King Spa room which came with a hot tub. The room looked exactly like that on the resort’s site. It was a very relaxing and large room. I made use of the hot tub a few nights, but also visited the Jacuzzi and pool.
The spa was very relaxing. I had the Head to Toe treatment with massage by Isabella and Facial with Annie. They were both wonderful therapists and great to talk to. Annie also gave some great travel tips fir places to visit and restaurants to try.
I ate at TCs three times. The food is very good! I had their street tacos, fried ravioli and Red Rocker Pizza. It was all wonderful. If I didn’t feel the need to try other restaurants in Sedona, I would not have regretted eating every meal there.
The view out of the restaurant is breathtaking. My room also had a patio with a view of the red rock and the golf course. The resort was busy - from couples to families to solo travelers like me. The pool and jacuzzi were a short walk for me and I went there daily.
The resort is very clean. I constantly saw staff moving around on golf carts. Garbage pickup was offered also because there wasn’t housekeeping, but there was a garbage and recycling bin outside my room.
I had a wonderful trip and truly enjoyed my time at the resort. It was an easy drive uptown had to other destinations in Sedona.

Quiet, clean rooms and nicely maintained grounds, with great views. When I called to confirm my reservation was for a pet-friendly room, the reservation staff made sure I was set in the room I reserved and remembered me when I checked in that afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by a doggy treat bag and canine menu! Our stay was short, but very pleasant.

We traveled with our two dogs and were very pleased by how dog friendly the property is as well as our room. When checking in, they gave us a doggie bag with a toy that our dogs loved, some treats and even a doggie menu that we could order from at the hotel restaurant (which is the first time I’ve ever seen a menu catered to dogs). So cute! The hotel also has a super convenient grassy area outside of the pet friendly rooms next to the golf course on the property and dogs are allowed throughout the property except inside the restaurant. They can go on the restaurant patio though if well behaved (hence the doggie menu). Aside from loving how dog friendly the hotel is, the room was very comfortable and spacious and after a long day of driving, it was nice that they offered speedy room service. The resort is located a short distance from downtown making it easy to visit any part of Sedona. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to spend more time in Sedona in the future!

Our friends invited us to tag along on their trip to Sedona, so the hotel was predetermined. We travel with our dog and my husband plays golf, so I made a reservation and we were off. We were greeted warmly at check in, and our dog got a little goodie bag. Our room was one of the larger ones on the side of the golf course right on a green. Huge bed, sofa, chairs and a coffee table. They also have a fridge, coffee maker, ironing board and iron. Robes are provided and we had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Room was very clean, and the house keeping was excellent. (Travel tip, leave $5 with a note of thanks every day) They have a nice pool and you can call for food/drinks to be brought down. The restaurant is good and we took all of our breakfasts there on the patio. We went during the week and there was only a handful of people at the resort, making it very tranquil. I would have given them five stars except for the chick sh.t "Resort Fee" of 20.00 a day, on top of a city tax of over 10%, so figure that into your budget. Internet was very good. We are happy with the place and will be back

Sorry no idea. We arrived by car.
Really can’t answer that . When I was there it was still going on . Best would be to contact the resort . Sorry
Small fridge, but not a microwave.
Less than 5 minutes to Circle K, like 7-Eleven, about 10 minutes to a supermarket.
