We reserved a room with a view at an additional cost. Our room was on the backside of the Inn and the view was not good. We asked at the front desk if they had any rooms with a better view and they did not. The front desk clerk said the rooms with a view really just mean they have a balcony and she was able to give us a discount. The Inn is outside of the main area of Sedona which probably partially explains the lower rate than other hotels in Sedona. The room was clean and comfortable.
I booked this hotel months earlier and booked the deluxe suite for 2 nights. We booked through hotels.com. When we checked in we were told that room is under renovation and they could only give us a 20 refund but we'd have to contact hotels.com to get it. We paid more than 20 dollars for the deluxe room for 2 nights, but I didn't want to argue. The location of the hotel is great and the view can't be beat! the room was comfortable and clean - not the deluxe but still worth it.
First of all I am deaf. When I called from home in Springfield, MO to the Andante Inn to inquire about booking a room, I was using a transcribing device that is hooked to my land line. Robyn spent a very generous amount of time with me; had all the patience in the world. You might imagine how frustrating and challenging it is to be deaf. Robyn took it in stride. I SO MUCH appreciated her. Also, this was my first time ever booking a room. That long call was not the only one. After I made my decision, I called back and did the booking. Again, Robyn was SO patient. HUGE KUDOS to Robyn!! I was so glad to be able to meet her. I told her supervisor all about my interactions with Robyn. And Robyn let me know that if I did a TripAdvisor review, she would receive a $25 bonus. In truth, Robyn deserves more than that. Oh, and not just that, in the 1st phone conversation, I let Robyn know that I was hoping to get a 2nd opinion at the N. Phoenix location of Cancer Treatment Centers of America toward the end of my trip. But, had no idea if it was going to work out, thus my uncertainty on how many days to book a room. Robyn remembered I was sick and shared a personal story. In person, we communicated by her writing on pieces of paper and her talking into my Notes App on my cell phone. I would definitely stay at the Andante Inn of Sedona again. The room was very nice, my partner said there was no disturbing noises. The breakfast each of our 3 days was very nice. We like different breakfast items, so he was quite happy with his selection, too. One evening, we used that area to play a game with my brother.…
Had a very nice stay at the Andante Inn. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff, especially Robin was extremely helpful with advice and booking Pink Jeep tour. We would stay there again. DJ Bruggy
I stayed at the Andante Inn the last week of September 2022 and I am so happy I decided on this place! It is super convenient, right on 89A only minutes to Uptown Sedona and other great attractions. Not too big and not too small, and the rates are pretty competitive to other places in the area, considering how close it is to the heart of Sedona. There is also everything else you could possibly need nearby right on 89A (restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.), and considering it's off of a busy street, the hotel is pretty quiet and the grounds are well-kept and peaceful. The staff was very nice, professional, and helpful (Ivan, especially, was pleasure to deal with)! The room itself was so comfortable and charming - I really felt at home for the week I stayed there. Had a WONDERFUL view of the mountains right outside the balcony doors and the room was in PRISTINE shape - clean, modern furniture/fixtures, every type of pillow one could possibly need, and probably one of the cleanest carpets I've ever had during a hotel stay! NO bugs whatsoever which was huge for me, since I've had some bad experiences at other places. The hotel has been recently remodeled, so of course, that factors in. Just a few little things that were different from other hotels I've stayed at: there is not a microwave in each room, but there is a modern one on every floor, so it's still convenient (there is a mini-fridge) and any little extras/amenities you might need, you have to ask for - I needed an iron and ironing board, which was brought to me almost immediately upon request. Also, the A/C unit is kind of high-tech and I had to have someone show me how to use the remote the next morning, as most of the controls are hidden behind the lower panel on the remote (it would help if a little label was attached to it, instructing guests to pull down on it, so they're not struggling in the middle of the night to figure it out when they want to adjust the room temperature/fan speed). Only other thing that would have been a little helpful was a small light on the balcony to be able to see better at night when sitting out there. Overall, I absolutely LOVED this place and this will definitely be my go-to again, next time I'm in Sedona! Supposedly, it might be turned into a Best Western, but I really hope it doesn't and that it gets to keep it's unique charm - and if it does change, then I'm very happy to be able to say that I got to experience it while it was the Andante Inn. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you're not looking for anything too big and crazy or expensive, and that is still modern and comfortable, in a prime location!…
When the front desk attendant, IVAN, greets you warmly, arranges for an early check-in, texts you when it's ready, gives you great hiking advice and invites you to stay longer, THAT'S EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. When the maid, ALICIA, gives you a huge smile and beams when you greet her in Spanish, then helps you say more in that language... and gives you a big hug, THAT'S EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We adore this charming Inn, though right off 89, the view is gorgeous, the outdoor pool is crystal clean and refreshing, outdoor breakfast patio is cool and inviting, the evening fire is welcoming and the the special little dog area was perfect! Yummy breakfast to go, including burritos, included. I can't say enough about this convenient to everything, affordable-priced little gem of a simple, sweet hotel. THANK YOU, IVAN, ALICIA and ANDANTE TEAM!…
I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasurable stay. The place is amazing a destination lodge that happens to be surrounded by the beauty of Sedona. The gardens are well maintained and there is a great view everywhere you look. The staff really is outstanding and such a pleasure to speak with from the desk to the master gardener the bartender, Jess and the shuttle service they have is so wonderful to take you down the hill at your convenience. I felt so spoiled and had the best most relaxing time ever. Dream come true for me. Room #284 not even a garden room but the beauty right off our patio was so tranquil. In my humble opinion this is the only place you should consider staying…. Anywhere else is just a room.
To be honest the hotel is very ok, but what made our stay GREAT was the staff. Thank you to Ivan he helped us out so much and really went out of his way for us. The grab and go breakfast was a little disappointing 3 years into a pandemic but it was okay. I liked the patio area. They are currently doing construction so be aware of that.
Very clean and nice motel room and close to some very nice restaurants....within walking distance. We had not stayed here before, but we definitely will stay there again. The bathroom was small but well laid out and everything was very clean
This property is close to downtown Sedona, just a few miles away. The front desk staff are not very welcoming, I just don’t understand why being in a tourist destination hotel staff aren't friendly or warm. The room is tiny as well as the bathroom, cleanliness is just okay and the most annoying part is the bathroom, there is a loud noise that seems like a piping sound or exhaust fan that would never stop. This place is just okay. I hope they would do something to make it remarkable for the guest.
