This hotel worked great as an affordable basecamp for the Sedona portion of our family spring break to Phoenix, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. The pool and fire pit area were newly remodeled and we took advantage of the cheap s'mores kit available at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable for my family of four (me, my wife, and middle and high school boys). The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and we filled up at breakfast (pretty good for the price point). Parking is easy and it's very quiet and off the beaten path of downtown Sedona.

Fantastic hotel! From the moment we checked in to the checkout, all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very kind. The room was extremely spacious, the shower was hot, and the beds were wide, soft, and provided us a perfect night's sleep.
As we were trapped in Sedona by a snowstorm and dangerous driving conditions, this was a last minute reservation. The reservation specialist signed us up for the Ascend Collection membership and gave us a discount on our stay.
The manager and front desk staff updated us on road conditions and provided us extra Starbucks coffee, which was strong and bold.
All in all, best hotel of our canyon adventure trip!!!

We spent two nights at the Arroyo Pinion Hotel in early October. The hotel is located at the south end of Sedona, away from the crowds in downtown, and a short drive from the north entrance to Red Rock State Park.
Our room was on the far end of the ground floor. It was small, but adequate. Facilities were more than adequate, including refrigerator and microwave. Good shower. Parking was easy. It was quiet, except for the elephants in the room above. Fortunately, they moved out after the first night.
The Arroyo has a beautiful outdoor pool, and a fire pit. Breakfast was outstanding, with good choices, including a yogurt machine and a selection of toppings. We ate breakfast at the edge of the pool, as the outside temperature in the morning was relatively cool. We never had a chance to use the exercise facilities, as we came back each night exhausted from hiking in the unseasonal heat.
The Arroyo is close to many restaurants, as well as Safeway and Whole Foods supermarkets, so you definitely won't starve while you're there.
The best thing about the Arroyo, though, was the staff, especially Jonielle and her son, Austin. Wonderful, friendly, and very helpful folks, and they made our stay very special.
The Arroyo Pinion Hotel is definitely going to be our go-to hotel on our next trip to Sedona. We hope that the weather will be just a bit cooler!

We stayed here as a family of 5 for 5 nights. First trip to Sedona. The location was outside of the downtown tourist area but within easy driving distance of everything you could want or need. Good continental breakfast every morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Our oldest son (17) slept on the pullout futon. It was nice having a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Bathroom is split so that the tub and toilet are in a room and the sink is separate so two people can be getting ready at the same time. Front desk staff were kind and helpful when a situation arose with another guest.

First off, the staff are wonderful at this hotel. It is clean, with decent facilities. After this it's all downhill. A hotel? No, it's nothing more than a dressed-up motel, and $380 a night at that. For this you get a king size room with a promised balcony that turned out to be a patch of brown dirt on teh ground floor with a view of a tall wooden fence. The walls and ceiling are so thin I could hear a conversation as though it was in my room. When the person above decided to walk across the floor at 6 am I had no choice but wake up too because it became impossible to sleep. Free breakfast? Motel 6 serves more edible stuff than this. Orange juice and an apple were the only things fit for human consumption. I drove into town to eat properly (another $30 per day). No, I wouldn't pay more than $100 for this, but it being Sedona, people get away with ripping off customers.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! As budget travelers, we are mostly looking for breakfast included, a pool, and value for the money. The property is clean and well-maintained. The pool is heated to 85 degrees even in the winter! We saw many people enjoying the fire pit by the pool. There is a full hot breakfast available every day with some nice additions like whipped cream, gingerbread granola for the yogurt, and toppings for the eggs. Location was great with ample parking. Great job Arroyo Pinion!

This location is only a couple miles from Upper Sedona but much less busy. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They sent someone right away to fix a running toilet and quickly replaced our keycards when we were locked out. The breakfast is fine and has hot and cold items. We did not use the pool, but the fire pit was nice after a day of hiking.

Highly recommend this place for location, facilities and especially the staff. Our room was quiet, and we found the bed comfy. While the whirlpool tub is small, it was clean and worked well - no shortage of hot water. Likewise, the fireplace was a nice touch and quickly took care of the chill. Recent upgrades to HVAC and bath mirror/light appreciated. Decent breakfast and nice firepit/pool area. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful with recommendations, directions, and arrangements.

Wonderful hotel. Was there for my sister and brother-in-law’s 60th anniversary. There were 10 of us in total - rooms close to each other. Mine was awesome, with a jacuzzi tub that I, unfortunately, didn’t have a chance to enjoy. Best part was the awesome staff who were so accommodating, especially letting us use the back room every evening for our family to celebrate. Have to post the one evening that we set outside by the fire.

We had stayed there a handful of times, because what makes a customer want to come back? Customer service. I understand this is a trying time for everyone, but in the business of people this is the time to higher the stands, to rise above and build back on what you had. We arrived on a very warm Sunday 8/20/20 afternoon at 2:37 pm, when my husband went to check in, the frond desk clerk said: your rooms aren't clean yet. So we waited outside since we had a pet, as soon as the new clerk came in, the other one came out and told us to come in and we should be OK now (2:55 pm). First of all, if she wanted to check us in, it would have been at least 20 minutes to issue keys, to sign paperwork, etc...she was just waiting for her shift to be over with and that's all there was to it, because when we went back to check in we were met by a clerk who was so mad she had to do it, she didn't speak to us at all, she just kept madly typing with her super-long fingernails making this situation very uncomfortable. "sign here" and just handed card keys like she was doing us a big favor. This people don't really care about their jobs at all. Send them to Safeway for customer service, they really are nice there. That is absolutely not the experience we had last time, or any other time we stayed there. So all of a sudden our rooms were ready. We wanted to know of a place open on a Sunday to wine tasting and silly me, I asked the front desk, because I thought who better to ask but the locals, right? of course she didn't know. And the way they answer the phone, wow, I know they are not happy employees. There was hair on the sink as we entered the room, so I went over surfaces with disinfecting wipes. Absolutely unacceptable, I am grateful for my job everyday, because in the worst of circumstances I have an honest way to earn money to go on getaways. their only saving grace is their location, but there are so many places around there I'm sure I will find someone who's happy to do business with my husband, myself and my little dog. We brought our friend with her 2 dogs as well as we kept bragging about Arroyo Pinion, she had her issues as well, I was so embarrassed. Their breakfast has also suffered and you can tell me it was all due to covid19, but customer service has nothing to do with that. Disappointed to say the least. I no longer recommend this place.

Not a Keurig, but they have a small coffee maker with specially made Starbuck cartridges. The coffee was good! We got some vanilla creamer from the lobby - the powdered stuff is gross. Hope that helps!
This hotel is located on Highway 89 on the west end of town. The room doors open to the south and there is no views of the canyons or iconic rock formations. One can see formations by walking around to the highway side of the hotel.
