We like to think that during our road trips in USA this ten day tour of California, Nevada, and Colorado we have stayed in the top end of Hotels and the bottom end of Motels. So from this experience we are happy to report Canyon Lodge is one of the very best motels we have had the pleasure to stay... More

This motel was a pleasant surprise! We were driving to Phoenix from Vegas and planned to stop half way to catch the Grand Canyon on our way. What a cool town on the old Route 66! The rooms were themed. We stayed in the Hollywood room. Very nice! The room was very clean. The bed and bedding was crisp, clean,... More

Loved staying in the Marilyn Monroe Room, Kitchy in a good way, very clean with a mini fridge, microwave and cable.. A continental breakfast is offered but we left early in the morning to drivecto Havasu. Seligman is a cute little town on Route 66.

We stayed in the Elvis room. It was amazing and being towards the back of the property was very quiet. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking Route 66 with a drink in our hands. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful.

This lodge perfectly fits the Route 66 experience, it’s updated and clean with a warm homey atmosphere consistent with heritage of the area. The bed was comfortable, all linens and towels were spotless, the floor had no stains. The room was quiet (the A/C was running, not noisy) The manager was friendly and helpful with an excellent suggestion for dinner,... More

Seligman is a great place for an overnight stop on any R66 road trip and Canyon Lodge is probably the best accommodation in town. it is an old R66 motel that's been nicely renovated. Clean and comfortable, themed rooms with all necessary amenities right in the centre of this quaint little town. The owner runs the place and is very... More

We loved our stay at the Canyon Lodge Motel, located right in the heart of Seligman, Arizona on Historic Route 66. The owner was super friendly and was outside waiting for us when we arrived. He took time to chat with us and show us around to the theme rooms. We stayed in the Elvis and 50’s rooms. The owner... More

This was our second visit to Canyon Lodge. this time we stayed in the Marilyn room. It was gorgeous! Bright, so clean and just so welcoming. We stayed in the US for 19 nights and Lawrence and I both thought this was the best by far. The guys who run it are amazing, such good hosts. Felt like we had... More

Tried to get a room for this evening and would not allow my service dog! Owner or manager tried to quote me ADA policies for service dogs. Said he "knows" because his sister trains them. Has absolutely no clue to what the Disability Act rules are.that govern service dogs. First denied me a room then after I explained the law... More

We rolled into town after a long road trip. This quaint motel is on the one big main street toward the east side of town. The rooms are older, but clean. No bugs. Most rooms have a "theme". This can be kind of cheesy. Nothing special, just "okay". The desk person was very nice and helpful. The front counter is... More
