We booked the new cabin #9 for 2 at West Hawk Resort in late October, and were lucky to have fabulous fall weather. The cabin was fully furnished, with full kitchen and fireplace, which was stocked with firewood by the management. We opted to dine out at the Hi Point Restaurant, just steps away from this resort, and had a...

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and spacious with everything but food and toys supplied. The playground is very close so didn't have to worry about my kids. There is fire pits at every cabin and ample wood to cut, or for a small fee; a nice sized bundle of pre-cut wood. We could rent movies at...

Cabin was clean but out dated. The owners were very friendly. Includes dishes, cutlery, fridge, stove, bbq which all work well. Cabin has no A/C and gets very hot in the summer. There is a fire pit and free wood if you cut your own from there supply. Beach is a 10 minute walk away. The resort store has liquor...

I'll start by saying that I did really enjoy staying in one of the cabins with a jacuzzi. We came for a weekend as I was becoming a certified scuba diver. I was really excited to relax in the jacuzzi after the long week, but there was absolutely no hot water when we got there. I was very disappointed. The...

Their newly renovated Cabin #9 is very cozy for a couple looking to spend some quality time out of the city. Don't worry about packing too much as the cabin is equipped with kitchen utensils, plates, kitchen towels, and any supplies needed can be bought at the Resort store or close by. The store has a great selection of wine,spirits,...

We arrived at West Hawk during a local emergency and were greeted in a pleasant professional manner. My husband is disabiled and Shannon offered to help me carry my suitcases etc. into our cabin. The cabin was clean and beautiful - I was looking forward to a lovely weekend. Within 1/2 hour my husband had a medical emergency and we...

Comfy well equipped rooms and friendly management. We went scuba diving at West Hawk Lake and we stayed here. Ask for a cabin with the fireplace! They have a well stocked kitchen with items you need to cook meals. There is even a barbecue.

“The cabins at the back of the property are quieter. Book far in advance on a long weekend because they get booked up fast.”
