We stayed here for 5 days at the first of January, 2013. Did the vegan package that included breakfast, yoga, a massage and some tours. The owners are very gracious and are very accommodating. The inn is very small and has just a few rooms,...More
Discovered this magical place on rawfoodplanet.com last year. My girlfriend and I visited Waterfall Villas for the first time in August. Unfortunately it was a short stay -- only four nights -- so we swore we would come back soon. We wished we had more...More

Hi there. I can't say specifically if the hotel caters to young families or if there is an age limit on guests but I will say that Fateh is very responsive and prompt with her email communications. I suggest that if you haven't already, send an email to the address on her hotel website. She was great when I booked with her this past January...never had to wait around for a reply, that made it very easy to book the rest of the trip.
Hope this helps!

We came from the San Jose airport, we arranged for someone to pick us up and bring us to the resort. It was about 3 hours drive but we stopped along the way to see some sights. You could rent a car at the airport, but we just opted for the hotel to send someone to pick us up.

Hello! Yes! Guests have rented a car at the airport many many times and drove here to the Waterfall Villas. We recommend that you do this drive in the day, not only because it is a scenic drive, but also because signage is not that great nor street lights at night. You can also rent a car once you are here. When renting a car in Costa Rica the most important thing is to get a car from a name brand agency - hertz, avis, national, budget, and solid. A no-name agency will be very cheap and YES it is too good to be true. Guests that have done this have been stranded without any assistance. That is no way to spend a vacation :) Love & light, Fateh
