It is not an hotel, it is an experience. One you will never forget. At the extreme end of civilization, on the outskirts of Corcovado, a clearing in the middle of the primary rainforest where you will find your cabin, alone and with plenty of privacy. Don't expect a luxury hotel but that is not the point. You will have...

We stayed 3 days at Casa Pequena with the hosts Oswaldo and Daniela, and it was an amazing experience. The whole garden offers a wide variety of fruit trees, Toucans, Tapirs and fireflies can be seen. We made our own chocolate in the kitchen, helped prepare a local meal with Salsa Lizano and had very interesting chats with the owners...

If you are looking for the true Costa Rica, this is your place. Located in the middle of the primary rain forest, you'll be surrounded by sounds of the jungle, your alarm clock will be the howling monkeys, the singing toucans.. and eventually you'll come across with lots of different species of birds, monkeys, or even bigger ones as the...

I just experienced this place...It's not what, it leads you to believe! Unless, you're a young, wayward, traveler! There is minimal food provided, you are basically "On you own"...No meat, poultry, fish, etc....Also, the owner Osvaldo offers "Team" treks though the jungle, to the beaches, but he'll desert you 3/4 on the way back & >>good luck finding your way...

This oasis is perfect for coming down. Very simple and close to nature. You hear and see the jungle everywhere. There are only a couple of other guests around. Delicious, fresh, organic food, especially the jungle-pizza out of the wood oven! Very nice hosts! It's helpful if you speak spanish...

I stayed here for about 4 full days in Feb 2014. The whole set up is super chill and laid back. Huge recommendation if you are into a more laid back setting; for those travellers looking for more polished operations or a simple jump-off for day tripping and touring corcovado, etc., then I might look in drake bay town itself....

After traveling throughout most of the country, we felt inundated with tourists from all over. We had heard Casa Pequeña was a unique place and the reviews were good so we booked two nights. We did not know what to expect exactly. We were picked up by Osvaldo in his Taxi-Quad - a 4-wheel ATV with a platform on the...

We stayed for about four days in summer and the experience was great! More than anything it felt like staying at a friend's house. Besides the regular things one would do while staying in the Osa Peninsula (nature walks, etc.) we got to really meet the locals and enjoy their culture in a way we would have never done by...
