I stayed in Santa Cruz area for a week and my rental place was a few minutes walk from La Iguana. I used to come for dinner every night at La Iguana. The dinners were great and it was also a nice experience to hangout with other travelers/backpackers/etc. They have bbq on Sat nights with fancy dress which was fun....

I stayed two times at La Iguana Perdida. I read the great stories here at TripAdvisor and decided I had to visit this place, and it was totally worth it! It feels a bit like you are in paradise / the jungle, far away from the hectic place of Panajachel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and fun, the rooms...

Thank you for taking the time to write a good review for us. We are very happy that you enjoyed your time with us. Thank you also for making us aware that the bathrooms needed to be looked at. We have repainted them and had a meeting with the cleaning girls to try and improve the cleanliness!

La Iguana Perdida is a great place to go for a weekend away with friends. It's very relaxed, great food, and great ambiance. I love that they have the backpackers option with private rooms. Some of the private rooms don't have electricity but it is definitely not an inconvenience. Their family style dinners are always delicious!! Definitely a highly recommended...

Tranquil, beatiful view, situated right on the lake. The rooms are a bit small, but all you need is there. Some points I would like to state: Tip for the cleaning crew... Do look up sometimes and clear the spider webbs in the room, All corners, all over the roof and the walls... too much of them to be a...

Thank you for your feedback! We aim to keep our food and drink prices comparable to those of the other hotels in Santa Cruz and will be sure to review to make sure that this is still the case. We have passed on your comments to the cleaning team, who will in the future be checking all around for spider...

I love this place! Have been twice now, and both times it has been great. Saturday night barbecues are always fun, and I always to make sure to wake up early one morning to watch the sunrise on the lake from their dock! Lots of hammocks scattered about, helpful and friendly staff.

At first we were shocked by the isolation of this property but we quickly realized how frequently and inexpensive the taxi boats were to take us to the other lake communities. The property is well maintained by a staff of happy to help young people. Our room Tijax was comfortable and clean with a great view of the lake, volcanoes...

ATI Divers operates a number of PADI scuba diving courses include certification in high altitude diving as well as other courses for professionals.
